The basic principle of LOA is that "like" attracts "like" Therefore stating that you need "Hope" will only bring about more to be hopeful for or of. Trust me, I know this is not the easiest thing to do. However there are tools to help you get through this difficult time.

You may want to consider listening to following before bed each night or when you feel low.

You may also want to adopt the following affirmation " I am already enjoying a healthy, loving and committed relationship with (insert her name) at the true level of my being and enjoying this healthy, loving and committed relationship with (insert her name) NOW manifests in my physical world.

I would also recommend that you forgive him in your heart. Literally say to yourself "I forgive him, I forgive him, I forgive him" for any unpleasant feelings he may cause. Does that make sense?

Whats so beautiful is i had just asked for a sign for me to see my ex again and the 1st link I randomly clicked on was just what I needed to read.
It was letting go of all the pain I felt and I so needed to remember that.

I didn't see him at all today like I usually do?!

how do you use the binaural beat brainwave? so you listen to it and say affirmations in your head like 'D and I are n a loving relationship' etc or do you visulaise you being back together or him contacting you?

I just checked cbengine.com and it is still #7, which is pretty amazing considering that it has been out for years. But he is a smart, compassionate guy and it is an excellent book, judging by the testimonials/free videos on his site. His "Calm Mind Technique" video is a sensory awareness meditation that can help with all sorts of issues.

It is an extremely lovely book. It preaches all the methods of LoA but obviously not with that name. It tells you how to get back on your feet, get your life back together, keep your chin up, take care of yourself, love yourself and go about building a new, stronger relationship. It's truly a good read and full of sensible advice, as compared to the millions of sh*tty online manuals which will walk you step-by-step through manipulating someone you really love.

But as a psychiatrist I weep in my heart almost daily for the ghastly confusion and suffering that this myth fosters. Millions of people waste vast amounts of energy desperately in an attempt to make the reality of their lives conform to the unreality of the myth."
Love is the pretext whereby so many people crucify themselves to the arrangement of marriage, relationships, and commitments, for a reason no better than mere obsession. Love is necessitated by a sexual impulse, no matter how much we try to restructure or "tame" it. You can spend 5 hours listing the "necessary" qualities of a "soul mate," but all those qualities are for naught if they do not contribute to sexual arousal.
Schopenhauer believed that the truth is ugly. Marriage is a trap to confine couples together. Living as a husband and wife means halve both of their rights and double the duties. Having children will require the couples to put in more effort and resources to maintain the family.
Therefore, only a force as strong as Love can ‘blind’ us, bringing men and women together in a same roof. When we are finding our potential partners, we do not think of making babies with them, rather, we think of Love. It seems that we have no choice but to fall in love and the illusion of love (which gives extreme positive emotions) will conveniently wipe away all the misery of a married life and having babies.
To summarize: our own projections, selfish expectations and exaggerations of Love are the foundations of attachment, judgments and the unavoidable disappointment.
