Hey guys.

I just had a quick question about the Law of attraction and Psychics. I have spoken to a psychic now on three ocassions, looking back on the first two readings I can see that he was right about a lot of what he said, but not everything.

I was in two minds about speaking to him again, especially as I am now so fascinated about the law of attraction and creating my own future, but I wanted to speak to him to find out whats going on with my ex and his state of mind also as I thought it would be healing for me. What he said seems to sum up my ex and where I thought he was at (confused and scared to commit), the psychic believes we will get back together but not for a long while.
Whilst I do understand that we can't control another's thoughts or actions, my question is, should I be taking what the psychic said around timing to be accurate ....... In my mind I had been praying / visualising us reconnecting around a certain point in time (much sooner than what was predicted) ... whenever I have mediated I have felt so good that his was going to happen.. but now speaking to the psychic , i'm doubting myself.

I just want to point out, that I haven't been obsessing over the ex either, im feeling really good, getting on my life focusing on me... and I see us breaking up as needed time out... but ultimately I want us to realign when the time is right.... I'm just not sure if I should be going with my thoughts or his.

hey there...

i am an ex- addcited to psychics. i can tell you honestly that 99 % of them have been wrong. i even made debts

i used to get advice from a psychic before i came here, but she was the only one through years who has been nearly right with all. i stopped though by finding loa again.
i am not going to waste my money on them anymore.

its not useful when you believe in loa. it only confuses you, the way you go and your positive mindstate, so i would really suggest you to stay away from them.
you have to be detached to get your desire and thats not possible when someone tells you confusing things. you will fix on that and it made me just unhappy to be honest.

This is perfect Crazysoul! I also remember you said on another thread that we are all our own psychics. Which I feel is so accurate once you discover the power of LOA and how to properly use it.

I just got some really good advice from a psychic on another LOA forum.... thought I would share

As a psychic myself, here's how this works. When "reading" a clients energy, I see the probable future based on where your energy is at in this moment. Does that mean he's going to be correct about the timing he sees? No. It simply means that is what he is seeing here and now. You can change your energy and desire in a split second, which would absolutely change your future. As to your last question, you always want to go with your own thoughts. You are the one creating your reality, not anyone else. You decide what you want, when you want it and how it will look and feel.

Psychics, at least the ones I associate with, only show people where they and their energy are at in this moment and the probability of where that energy is leading. Nothing is ever set in stone, and you can change everything the moment you decide to. =)

@sunnysideup: when it comes to "reading" energy, is it possible to read someone's energy who is physically not in front of you?

I've seen a psychic a few months back and he said that he reads how the relationship with my guy is not "broken", but it's just strained like an elastic band that's stretched very far (but hasn't snapped yet). But after that my guy and I had a conversation that didn't go very well, and I'm afraid that something I did may have caused the link between us to "snap"....

usually, can one (either the psychic or myself) "sense" whether the link is still there?

I think it’s just a self-manifestation, you heard the relationship is strained and you had that on you mind. Once you saw him im sure that was in the back of your mind, and then it became reality. If he said the relationship is going great im sure things would have been different, or at least your approach.

I agree with CrazySoul that these things really make life harder than it should be. I know in the past i got so many readings done, one said yes you are going to be together but all the rest said it’s never going to happen. At the end of the day we ended up working it out, so really their advice was just a waste of time and money. The point is you control the outcome to some extent, you can’t really make someone else do anything, but by changing yourself it can only do well in the end.

I also find that i have been reading way too many horoscopes, and they make me feel like crap most of the time to be honest. One day it will say things are going to be great, the next day they say it’s all going downhill. So it becomes like an emotional ride, up and down, every day... and really in the end i would rather just deal with it then really on that advice.

I can answer your question, Yes, it is possible to read someone's energy that is not "physically" in front of you. I do it all the time. I have even done it for forum members here and I have read the energy of people I have never met before also. There are a few senior members here that I have read for who could verify it's possible and that I am accurate.

i too know that its possible to feel the energies, i read tarot for myself since 20 years, i know that its possible. i dont do it anymore though, when my cards were "bad" i was in a bad mood all day, omg- no wonder why so many bad things happened to me lol.
never going to do that again.
i cannot tell you how many readings i had, but for all men/ex etc, they told me that we are soulmates.... haha. some may good and honest, but i guess that most of them even dont know whats about.
they just tell you what you want to hear.....

I got 3 psychic readings (online) after my boyfriend and I split up. The first two were very vague and simply stated that no, we will not get back together. The last one said that he still cares about me and has love in his heart for me (which he pretty much told me he did the other day), and that he will want to try again later on this year. This same psychic was also the only one that said "however, you have the free will as to whether or not you want to take him back. If you choose not to, you will meet someone named "X" with so and so attributes". I tend to believe the last psychic, not because she was the only one that said we will be together, but because she was the only one that was detailed, mentioned free will, and the only one that I really felt I "connected" with.

I don't know which psychic was right, but I've been getting little "signs" about my ex the last few days. I've been doing the love therapy/remote seduction and I have this feeling deep down that he's thinking of me the same way I am of him. I do agree though that the psychics can sometimes discourage us and cause us to look in a particular direction when really we can make things go the way WE want. So I guess take the readings with a grain of salt, and try to stay positive

I was told by a psychic the best way to get a reading on whether you and someone should be together or will be in the future is to ask whether you and this person have energy to exchange in a positive way that both suits you.

I haven't put much money into psychic readings but I do try and develop my own intuitive nature. When my ex broke up with me I always felt he would come back and our timing was off. Sometimes I do feel as if he is angry with me and I don't even get why. I sometimes laugh and think yeah because you still love me so much and it drives you crazy.

I have been addicted to psychics in the past too.
For ten years I have been told that my man was right around the corner... haha! I'm still waiting, it's a pretty long corner I suppose! Now I just trust myself.
We all have our guidance and intuition to rely on… and there are definitely people who can read for others. Trust your guidance to tell you if what they are saying rings true for you.

Wow! what a massive response...

Thank you everyone who replied.. its been really insightful to hear everyone's opinion.

I am 100% certain that my guy is coming back to me, when we broke up on the phone, I felt an immense wave of love flow through my body, I've never felt anything like it... If this was like any of my other break ups I would have been inconsolable for weeks... but this love.. my great love is coming back to me, everything from the way that we met tells me that we are meant to be.. We've survived a long distance relationship for 1.5 years.. and I know our connection is strong.. he prays a lot, and there have been times where I have woken in the middle of the night from a deep sleep and just feel love rush through me... I do miss him but I know we will be reunited...

I do believe that the psychic was picking up on how he felt at that time (even from a distance) .. but thats not to say its going to change... I'm certain that I will be posting my success story soon about how long distance love can work..
