A person an coincidence

Hi everyone! Much love to all of you. This is my first post here on the board, and I have really only been studying LOA for the past two or three weeks, although I have been interested in Quantum Mechanics for some time now.

I have a question I'd like to get some insight on. There is a person I have incredibly deep feelings for. We've been intimate before, but only once that was really significant. For some reason, probably out of my own insecurities, we broke contact for about 3 weeks. In the mean while I was stressing over it, and she had found someone else she liked. I am currently without a car, and she has a slew of her own problems, so getting together had been hard.

However, I after my research, I knew that the problem was stemming from me. So I detached myself from any negative feelings and doubts about the situation. I sent all the positive energy I could muster to this person. True unadulterated love and passion, and low and behold, we ended up seeing each other, she came to my house.

We were having a really good time, sharing a really good connection. She had to leave abruptly though due to a family matter. She was completely sincere in her actions and emotions, so I know she wasn't faking. I know that she likes me still, and I sure with my whole heart love her. I just knew from when we met. Not out of desperation or loneliness, but just because I knew.

The thing is, is that I JUST realized two days later that I left a list of affirmations out in the open when she was here, in clear sight from where she was sitting. It was pretty personal. Notes saying how much I loved her and that she loved me, that we were soul mates. That we vibrate together. It was like shock waves going through my body when I realized this, but I felt so much closer to her when I did realize what may have happened.

Overall, do you think that it was coincidence that I left those papers out or subconsciously intentional. Also, do you think it's better if she did happen to read it? Any insight would be wonderful. Cheers everybody.

I cannot really answer on the question of whether it was subconcious intention or coincidence. Although I don't believe in pure coincidence really. Was it accidental that you left them there?

As for the other question, personally I would put those things away in only a place i could get them, because I feel if someone read those things it might be a bit weird or scary to them if they aren't familiar to LoA. This is my personal opinion only. I don't feel we should share those sorts of things, it's rather personal and for yourself only.

Lol yes it was definitely accidental. Most of the page was covered by something, so if she did read it who knows how much was actually read or seen. It's so odd how the back and forth is on this. Like last night we were talking and she said something along "Take rejection like a man.", but in all sincerity I don't feel rejected. In ways hearing that made me even happier, because I knew I had finally made great progress detaching from any bad feelings about us. It's like it didn't even matter. In matters of the heart, I don't know if it's ever possible to be wrong. I believe the Universe has me in this place because it is the best fit.

Like when she did come over, I turned on the TV and it just so happened that there was a porno on Cinemax (at 9:30 of all times haha). She laughs and tells me, "It's not time for that yet", and I'm thinking "yet?". Subconscious slip or what, because that intention seems pretty obvious.

Like I said though, in ways I'm glad we both said what we said yesterday. I laid it out pretty vividly, and maybe went a tad overboard since we both were drunk. I feel no attachments to the situation anymore though. Desire? Sure, but not because of a lack of self or need for validation. Simply because I just think "Hey, this would be really nice".

I'd say that's progress...right haha?

Yeah, I think that list is something I would've kept hidden, but it doesn't seem like it's affected the situation in a bad way. Sounds like the two of you are still having a good time together.

Like I was saying though, I was super straightforward yesterday. I told her that a feeling felt is a feeling shared, that she couldn't pretend forever. Before I said that though, I realized something. Before, I was trying to force the situation in a direction I wanted it to go which is a big no-no in LoA as I've come to understand. When I said it, I felt totally freed of the situation, like it didn't even matter anymore. I realized that all I can do is give her the love that I've got without giving up any love for myself.

Usually when people tell me something like she said, I get super defensive and say "Oh well forget this person, they don't want me". The things is though, I felt none of that. I felt completely at peace, and that it was said for a reason. That somehow me saying it, no matter how it came off to her, made the situation better. I just know in my heart that this is the person for me. I believe it with every part of my being, and I know it will happen, but that with or without, I'll be happy.

I can't express the love and gratitude I have for the members of this board either. You all truly do give me hope and make me so incredibly positive about my life and my self. You are all truly loving amazing people, and in the same sense so am I. In a way, we must all be vibrating together at some level to have found each other.
