need help clearing negativity

hi everyone,
so i have been feeling good lately, the last conversation i had with my ex was positive. his mum spoke to me last night saying he is stubborn and the more she asks him to get the divorce done, the more he wont do it, cause he always wants things done his way. anyway, my problem now is people around me, they are putting doubts in me saying the reason he maybe not contacting me is that he is planning to move money! that he is not really bothered about and has better things to worry about, some are tell me how could i possibly want him back given what he did, as in cheat on me, asked me to leave home and that if he loved me or cared he wouldnt have been able to go without talking to me for weeks. i am trying to clear this quickly before it becomes dominant thoughts. helppp

Sometimes, when doubt starts hitting me, I create a new story and make up my own (positive) reasons for why things are happening.  Other times, I'll try to do something else to distract myself, like work on my business or go outside and take some photos.

I find that the negative thoughts seem to hit the hardest when I'm not taking care of myself and have lost my focus.  I think I start dwelling on the negative thoughts to distract myself from doing what I should be doing...if that makes any sense.

On another thread someone asked a question and towards the end said sometimes I have a small voice expressing doubt.

Shenderson replied and gave a detailed reply to the question but also added - by the way that little voice is your own insecurities - tell them to shut it.

I have to say I found this to be so brilliant in it's simplicity to be genius.

I have spent time in the past trying to overcome negative thoughts - trying to re write a negative to a positive statement - trying to focus on a positive image etc - all of which are good ideas. But for me now - when the negative thought crosses my mind - the shut it - works. It makes me smile. It's quick - and if the negative thought is whilst I'm at work and doing something - I haven't always got the time to think oh how can I change this to a positive. I have got the time to mentally say shut it.

It means for me as well that when I am visualising positively - it's always because I want to and not because I'm trying to shift from the negative to a positive.

so now - a thought pops up - maybe this might happen - maybe this won't ever happen. what if this - and I just think shut it!!

i agree with lise2010... tell the little voice to shut it!! works everytime with me now, and smile when you say it! at the end of the day i go through all the events of the day and if there is anything that didnt go your way, imagine it in the way that you want to it go and smile...

Read my post on 16 laws, and you have to quit talking to others, follow your guidance, it will tell you what to do, but till you clear your energy field from all others you will be in turmoil, follow your path. Read the post.

Kitten~ You may want to consider this:  Your fear of how people around you will respond if you do get back together with your ex is causing your discomfort.  Take responsibility for your thoughts and feelings.  If you aren't incorporating these people into your gratitude statements, you may want to consider doing so.  For instance, "I am grateful for the love and support I receive from our family members""I am grateful for the understanding and acceptance of my desire to have a romantic and healthy relationship with my husband by those around me"  Write these down, read them every day.  I use a subliminal messaging program on my computer.  It works wonders!!
