My birthday wish... gone wrong? Need some perspective.

Update:

So tomorrow is my birthday and 2 days ago we got into a fight i guess. He blew his temper at me. I was mesaging him and he told me to "shut the F*ck up" cause it was an intense moment for his part. But yeah I tried not letting that get to me and gave him space for 24hrs, then i texted him later the next day as proof i wasn't upset i texted him and he didn't really respond. Later that night i got on and we had a short convos. THe first was about how he blew his temper at me, then he told me to stop being irritating. No appoligize there though. and then about something else. And now this morning he completly ignored me. 5days ago we were web caming and now we barely talk. It all happened in less than a week. :/

I dunno i've did the what if's in this situation but it goes down the drain... "What if he's just afk?" "what if he's just busy" "waht if he just doesn't want to talk to me?" -____-

Hello my birthday is exactly one week from today. And well... some doubts about my wish have come up recently. :/

My wish is for this person (that i love ) to come visit me for my birthday. (we live in different states) I have been daydreaming of what it would be like if he cam to visit me. And last week he told me he had a gift for me. At that time and for the rest of that week i was ecstatic because i felt that my daydreams would come true. I had no doubt in my mind that he was coming. That he is visiting me for my birthday...  But my faith wavered a bit as he hinted that the gift in question might be a virtual one.

But anyways i'm going to restore my faith in my wish and in one week I shall see what happens. (i'll be happy with whatever he gives me heck i'm happy he said he was giving me a gift but I really really really want him to come visit.)

So any ideas (besides the usual hoponono' and etf ) as to how I can restore my faith in my birthday wish back to 100%? And what would be a good affirmation for this?

ahh thank you~ that was a very good post that i have not read. I like the Metaphoric affirmations. When i say "I am love, I am abundance, I am wealth" I feel very powerful. But i'm not sure how to word this birthday wish into an effective affirmation.

Should i say, "I am a visitation from _____." It doesn't feel quite right. haha

You can say 'I am x', I am x's surprise visit', I am x's gift' ect... where x is the name of the person you are in love with.  Just affirm whichever feels good and comfortable for you.

To restore my faith in anything,I think about the worst condition..that what max will happen?Like in this case he will not pay a visit..and then tell myself I will be ok even then.It helps me in Detachment also

Thank you both for the advice. The affirmations did make me feel better. And yeah  i already knew that this wish was far-fetched and the worse that could come was him not  visiting but... it seems that there was worse. :/

Mermaidwife,  feel OK with what had happened.  In such situations EFT will give a good relief.  Don't be hard on yourself.  Think the other way round, he is (also) the one who attracted this situation. My advice would be, don't text him or call him or interupt him in any way.  Give him lot of time to relax and come to normal. Just be positive.  The situation will turn around.
