I think from what we have all gathered here, is that if you do it when you are emotionally not right, then it may not be your gut, but when you do it and you just know, calmly, then you go with it, if and only it feels right. We have a tendency to make immediate judgements on our actions, as we do them, and at times they appear wrong or right and then you find out that you did do the right thing. I have spoke to many friends about their experiences in this matter, and some said that because the person did not approach them or contact them again they felt that person moved on, or did not want to talk to them, quite the contrary, NC is for you to heal, and whenever you do something out of panic and fear it usually does not result in a good outcome. Because at the end of the day its your life, you have to go with your inner guidance and gut, but from a good place of self love, and peace. It is a journey, for some long for some short.

What if my gut instinct tells me to approach a particular person for advice? May be the Universe is leading me to the person and through him/her the Universe is guiding me? Just a quick thought!

if they are on the same vibrational frequency as me, i would seek there advice, doesnt mean i would act on that advice - but theres no harm in seeing what they had to say

I think asking for help here on the forum is very important for learning. We are all at different states of growth, and since we reached an outcome that we do not want (breakin up with our exs forexample), it indicates that there's a want for learning and understanding the laws of the universe better.
I don't think asking means that i don't believe in my own "gut feelings" or i'd rather call it "intuition" .. but how do we define intuition anyway? sometimes what we're feeling is just a mess of emotions that drive us to call, and if it doesn't end well, it just attracts more and more emotional mess.

well my point was not my fear, I was saying that some of the responses I received seemed as if they came from a place of fear or panic, that I may be questioning the advise or that the advise may be wrong or right. Schenderson, I fear, lol, you took that statement out of context. Maybe when we question, maybe they create their own fears, or their fears and doubts come out. Again I am not looking for a debate, just trying to figure this out, and let go as I have stated to you.
