It's my Birthday but....

It's my birthday and I have been happy and sad at times this weekend and I was finding some peace at one part of my day but then.... it seems like people are trying to spoil my birthday or just annoy me. I guess they aren't trying to do it deliberately but what happened is I was relaxed watching a movie last night thinking positively and a "friend" and I say friend that way because I tried to cut communication because she can be selfish and say the wrong things at the wrong time like yesterday. She tells me she's engaged and not only does she know what I'm going through but she's said other things right after me and him have split. That messed up my mood to some degree and waking up today I thought about it and was like everyone around me has someone except for me and I'm blaming myself for the breakup and now I'm alone for my bday. Wish I wouldn't have responded to that dang text for her, ugh....

I know how upsetting it can be hearing about your friends engagement as I am surrounded by love birds and "happy" marriages. I "" happy because who knows if they are really happy, it's just my interpretation.
Anyway I think this is a test from the universe. If if we can be happy and excited for the love or relationships that surround us instead of being bitter, jealous or angry I think the universe will deliver us a lovely relationship. If we can be happy for others then we are sending out positive vibes to only receive more positive situation. And not to mention if you were in love and getting married you would want people to be happy for you.

To be honest, It's upsetting to hear about an engagement right now but it's more annoying mainly because I think I don't really like her and have been trying to cut the friendship off with her for awhile now because she does things that don't suit me and she says things at inappropriate times such as this when she knows how this is affecting me and she even wrote that she knows it's hard for me so it shows me she doesn't care and is being selfish knowing that would bring me down, and it's like come on right before my bday you tell me this, thanks pal.

I know when the holidays or even birthdays come around we feel so alone even though we have our loved ones (friends and family) around us. Its hard to see our friends being happy with their lovers while we have no one to do special things with. Just remind yourself that this is only temporary and you too will be just as happy as they are with a special someone very soon. Get yourself ready for that by loving yourself and feeling good about YOU!

We are all going through the same thing here and we just have to stay positive that things are going to work out one way or another. There's a bright future ahead so focus on that and do not let anyone spoil your birthday!

Happy Birthday Inspired, always know that there are amazing things coming into your life that will make you soooo happy

I definitely understand your feelings, as my birthday is in few days soon and that I did a lot of reflections as well on the things that had happened in my life, it seems that everyone is happily married or engaged. Yesterday, just spent the day acknowleding the negative emotions to flow in and to also let myself learn about me more, what I am capable of, what are the things that I should take responsibility on. With this happening in my whole day, I then woke up this morning with a dream that I was nearly bitten by a big crocodile and a man hugged me and saved me I woke up with still a big smile in my face, as I believe that indeed there are lots of amazing things that wait for me, but this also dependent on my ability to allow them to flow in my life.

Having said all of this, Inspired be inspired and choose to be inspired, no matter the circumstance is. You have your time as we all have our time. Let me share you a message sent to me, "If God asks you to put something down, He is just emptying your hand to give you something better". We all deserve to have that something better, not necessarily with another person other than the ex we want to have, but a happier and more loving relationship we all wanted. Another year is here for you and for me as well (soon!), it is just right that we will commit to make it a happier year for us, as we take responsibility to our happiness. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I just wanted to update everyone and let them know that my birthday went well. I didn't do a lot but I laughed and got Happy Birthdays, and even got 3, yes 3 Happy bday wishes from my guy and I was sure to either get 0-1 at most from him. That means with that being said expect the unexpected in a good way. I also let that so called friend go because she decided to say things to me and I am free from that "friendship" I hope I can stay positive and focus on me.
