Hello everyone!
I have been doing a lil thinking on signs. I was wondering if those that have asked for signs, weather you received them or not, if you could tell me what your belief system is as far as things like miracles. or better yet what your beliefs have been your whole life. do miracles happen? have you believed or not believed your whole life that you get signs from god/the universe? or is it something you starting working with just in learning about the law of attraction......

NOTE: there is no wrong answer. i am asking for information purposes as i try to unlock more doors in my brain

Interesting topic. I have always believed in signs, although I didn't always associate them with LOA. Prior to learning about LOA, I would ask my father to give me signs that he was with me (he passed away in 1989). If you've heard the saying "Pennies from heaven" that comes from the belief that when you find coins in random places, that is a loved one saying hello. I find coins all the time and I know they are from him. Sometimes I ask for them, but often I just find them and it's often at the perfect time (when I'm going through a tough time).

Here's a story. I was in the midst of an emotional affair with a married man a few years back and really struggling with it. I knew that he was never going to leave her and was just using me for comfort, but I was in love with him and not ready to let go. One day, I got to work and found a dime smack dab in the middle of my desk. I knew it was from my dad and he was just letting me know he was with me during my struggle. But I needed to test him to be sure. I placed the dime on the top of an Altoids tin set back at the back of my desk. I thought "If that was you, Dad, the dime will be gone tomorrow." Sure enough, the next day it was gone. Then I thought "Okay, now it will be beck tomorrow." You guessed it. I looked at the date on the dime and it was 1972. Something about that resonated with me but I wasn't sure why. I put the dime in my purse to hold on to and when I got home that evening, my eyes were drawn to a picture I had framed - it was me as a little girl asleep on my dad's lap. I went over to the picture and there was a date printed on the side of the picture - 1972. That dime will always be with me.

I do believe in miracles - I think they happen all the time. It can be something small or something monumental. To me, doing the show this summer was a miracle because of all of the joy it brought to my life, what it gave me back in terms of my self esteem and confidence and because of the people I met.

In terms of LOA, personally, I don't ask for signs because I think that leads to attachment. Rather, there are certain things that if I see them I perceive them as a sign that I'm going in the right direction and to keep doing what I'm doing. I acknowledge them, express gratitude but I don't look for them or ask for them.

I have never really asked for a sign in regards to what I was trying to manifest..
However I remember asking myself days and days what to do about the person I am trying to attract and if I should give up and let it go because at that point no matter how much loa I was doing the situation was getting worse until we argued and a few minutes after this argument as i was logging into my inbox his name was in the CAPTCHA ( the little security giberish you are supposed to type out as a security to login for those who don't know) ..the odds of getting his name there seemed thin but it had me thinking whether it could be a sign or not considering it was the first and last time it happened..and if so what it could possibly mean.

Generally speaking and to answer your question I do tend to believe in signs or at least I want to believe in them, I try to stay attentive to what's happening around and sometimes some things are so big that it is difficult to believe that they are coincidences. I did believe in signs before knowing about LOA.

Have you asked for signs yourself and had any that you were convinced weren't a coincidence?

I believe in signs.. I think the only difference for me anyways is that if you're looking for a sign then it will not appear but if you ask and you let it go and go on about your day then I believe they appear.. being it a small or big all depending on what you believe. I ask for signs that allow me to know if I'm on the right path. When I'm searching and looking for them i never get anything but as soon as I don't search for them the signs and forget about it then they are all there and I'm so grateful for them

and then I let them go . It's whatever you believe is a sign to you or not.. Just know that no matter what, if you believe in signs or not.. if you believe and have faith and trust in the universe then you shouldn't worry or look for these signs.. they'll be there to just remind you you're on the right path

I have believed mostly since long before I knew about LOA. But sometimes I have been in a cynic. Trouble with signs is I can't make out if they are signs or just my brain picking up patterns because I want certain things to be a certain way.

Believing in signs or to take a certain event can again be simply said to be our beliefs. We simply choose to believe in something and then look for arguments/signs to support out beliefs.

Nice discussion.

I have an interesting logic about signs, it has everything to do with law of attraction. LOA says that we manifest what we put our energy in and what we truly want. And this is possible because it is already there in the Universe. We cannot create what is not there as per the law of Conservation of energy. When we put our intention into something, that thought has energy, it brings everything together in order to manifest it. And since energy also has frequency, we see and perceive the things that have corresponding frequency. Thats the reason we see signs. They are just the placards that lead us to the right direction(direction to manifest our intention)

And well, if we deeply look into miracles, we know that it was supposed to happen but it appears as a miracle because it was so much effortless.

Sorry for being negative here but i dont believe in sign anymore.
I think sign is just a way of my subsconscious telling me that i havent let go and still obsess about things. Because to me, when we focus ob one thing,of course those things you focus will start to showing up. That is wheb i start to think about my drsire and hoping with this sign,my manifesting will come quick and everything will be back to square one,being attach to the outcome. Well maybe this is just me but i believe mitacle will show up when out brain is no longer able to think of a conclusion when or how the desire will show up.

Well I've always believed in signs and miracles. Though I think after learning about the LoA I'm a little bit more picky about what I consider a sign. I know that if I ask for something, like show me X if Y is going to happen, then I'm just going to attract a lot of X. It doesn't really mean that I'm attracting the event I want, so much as I'm just attracting the signs I want. But if stuff happens without me even asking for it, then that's a sign. Though, how I interpret the sign is kind of based on what I want to believe or hindsight

It's kind of like how I deal with dreams. If I have a good dream...it's a sign that good things are going to happen! If I have a bad dream, then that's just my sub-conscious having a spaz attack or that burrito I had before bed.

I believe in signs, but my problem has been knowing what they mean or if it means I should do some sort of action, and if so, what.
@tereza And by the way, eating pizza late at night is the worst! I've had some of the weirdest nightmares from that! Haha.

I'm with Thereza on this one. I do believe in signs, yet don't really ask for them. It's the one's that come out of nowhere that I count as signs.

Pretty much also agreeing with Tereza but to add on....... I think that to ask for signs is to ask for clarification of your wish or desire coming true. And if you need clarification then that means you dont believe its already yours. But signs are given anywayz and a person can feel or know theyre on the right path to their desire.
