Author Topic: How do you know it's a sign? (Read 1595 times)

So the other day I asked for a sign whether my love and i would be together again one day.
I usually pass his house on the way to work and today i went one street over because i'm trying not to see him right now ( i know one of his friends lives on this street ) and i look over and there is his truck parked at his friends. Which is kinda funny i avoided going by his house to not see him and saw his truck anyway. My question is do you think this is a sign or is it coincidence? And how do i know the difference? I am going to stop asking for them because i know i need to believe . Just wondered though....

Its funny i decided today to stop asking for signs because not only did i have a great week as far as my Inentions/Affirmations go

but every single time i ask..sometimes just a few hours later even, BOOM i get a sign..a good sign..it always seems to come when i am having difficulty or losing faith, i want to stop this cycle! Even though i feel very connected through signs and very grateful that i receieve them..i want to practice TOTAL FAITH now.

But of course now that things are getting quiet again i feel the need to ask, but like you said it is about your belief and faith, so i want to just go with the flow and not ask anymore

And yes, to me thats a sign when you are going OUT OF YOUR WAY TO AVOID and then he is there, just like that...to me that is a sign...i had a similar situation with my guy at work as well..

And it wasn't like you knew he would be going to his friends that day or that you ''created'' a situation to see him, so i would say it does mean something, the question is..does it mean something to you?

Lets both try to believe and have total faith , maybe it will be easier together

I know , for me , i sometimes feel that nothing is happening and that's why i ask for a sign , but i am not doing that anymore!!! I do trust in the Universe . I actually read a quote somewhere , it was more like a gratitude list i guess . It went like this

I desire my lover to love me and only me.
I want him to be committed , faithful and love me unconditionally
I know i always receive what i ask for
I will not question or judge how it will come about , for by not judging by myself whatever i wish for will be granted
I will express my gratitude.

This is too funnnnnnnny onlyhappiness.

I just got ANOTHER sign about something i have been struggling with. I didn't ask for a sign IT JUST CAME and now i am thinking that maybe i should just follow my heart..its about purchasing a pet (small white dog) and THE EXACT ANIMAL I WANT keeeeps popping up into my life ALL OF A SUDDEN!

My new neighbor--who just moved in--just walked by my window walking a small white puppy on a leash

I'm Gushing Right Now!!!!!!!!

See it does work, even when you don't ask

Whenever I ask for a sign of being on the right path, I pray, open the bible to read. Sometimes I will get a message from there, most of the time, I feel peace. When I feel peace, I know I am trusting, having faith that my desire will manifest in its timing.

What is sometimes difficult is when doubt, negative thoughts slip in, if I don't get control of those thoughts then I have created a obstacle for myself, interupts my vibes. It's taking me a while to learn all this. Finally! I learned to truely "Let go and Let God", or another, detach.

That is exactly how it happened for me too! I was losing faith about attracting back my love, and I just "whispered" to the universe...Can you please give me a sign? Then a few hours later in my yoga class, my instructor played a song that was "our song". And at that moment, I told myself that I should strive and believe, since it's the right thing to do =D

@onlyhappiness: The reason you have asked your questions is probably because you have a gut feeling that it IS a sign. In my opinion, trust your guts. If you heart is telling you that it is, then believe that it is!

Thanks Kaori ... Your right i did believe it was a sign , but i was also second guessing because obviously i wanted to believe it because yes i was attatched.... terrible that sometimes you need another view on it.

I just love signs when they happen like that, Like it goes beyond coincidence and totally meant for you.
One of my favorite signs was after reading in a book that angels leave white feathers to let you know they are around you with love, I was so fascinated that I tried to look for feathers everywhere and found none for weeks. So I asked my divine if i could please see white feathers and then forgot all about it.
weeks passed and I saw one and then the next day another and I swear every single day I see a white feather.
Iv even once had one fly through the window and land on my lap.
That has been like that for over 2 years now and I always smile when i see one.
The universe is simply beautiful and so unique to us!

hey how about stating it like this?

.... (your loves name) is loving me and only me- now and always
he is already committed and loving me unconditionally
i am already receiving for what is ask for- always
i am in faith that all is happening right now
i am expressing my gratitude

i and ..... are love
i and .... are a loving relationship

this " i am already...." works miracles for me

just trying to hep,
dont use "not" and write it in the NOW.....

If it is a sign u will just know it, u will feel it in your bones that it is. Whenever I get mind boggling signs I feel so damm good....

. Also signs are a personal thing. What I consider a sign, u might not consider a sign and vice versa. You will know in ur heart. Also in general I believe that asking 4 signs does not signify lack of trust in the universe. I read an article where it said how u know your parents love you, and u do not have to be reminded of this everyday, but when they say it it feels good. The same is with signs from the universe. You trust the universe, u know it has ur back, but when it gives you signs to confirm what u already know(it is manifesting ur desire), it makes u feel great and reinforces you to stay on course.......

Signs always make me smile, they are the initial answers to everything that I asked for. It strengthen my faith in myself, to God and to everything that I ask for will be given to me at the right and perfect time

@abhi BUY THE MOVIE!! I think just about everyone on this forum has seen it and uses it as motivation. There's also a book to it that's pretty much the same thing and then a second book
called The Power that goes deeper into what The Secret talks about. Buy it as soon as possible!!
