See you already achieved something what most of would die for! The first contact! Did he initiate it all by himself? How long was the "no communication" period before he started to write?
I would take it as a huge success, and you can do even better. Things already started to work for you, you just fall off the wagon somewhere. But don't worry, there is no failure, just a delay!

Do you mean you have a bad feeling all the time thinking about him? Because your emotions are your guiding system. If something feels wrong or bad it may be because you still focus on the lack, instead of the feeling being loved  and appreciated.

I want to tell you I really understand every word you wrote and feel every painful moment you had. I'm in the very same boat (except that we were not married, just almost, and he refused to meet me after 5 months of the break up - since then we had no contact at all), and I do believe we are apart now just to grow and learn separately, but we will find the way back to each other.
I love the way how people say something what they mean "forever". (incl. me, lol) Nothing is constant, everything is changing all the time. If there is one thing he or you can be SURE is that nothing will ever be the same. It can be better or worse but won't stay like that for a long time. By the way.. so this is why I would not worry too much about what he said. Maybe he needs more time to grow, to learn some lessons.. but hey! You too!  If you believe I know you will be reunited one day!

If you have the right understanding and right knowledge of your partner, being able to understand from your partner’s perspective, able to consciously and deliberately choose to think the right kind of thoughts, and engaged in self cultivation (through increasing your personal magnetism, practicing meditation or prayers), you WILL get what you want from your relationship or marriage!

One of my biggest discoveries in the process of interacting with so many of you is that everyone of us, including you and me, wants our lover or spouse because he or she has made us feel good in some ways. This is what we call love.

We sacrifice our-selves, our energy, time, and efforts in trying to keep our relationship or marriage alive. It seems we are doing all of these for our partners, but in fact, we are actually doing it for our-selves!

Think about this. Ask yourself : "Why do I like to be with this person so much? Why do I choose this person instead of others?"

He or she could have a weakness in some ways (in certain areas of their lives) allowing you to fill in that gap, and in doing so you are able to feel your self worth, and you thought you have found your purpose in life!

He or she could also possess certain strengths in terms of character and abilities and you feel good every time you are bring with him/her! If you think about it, this is not true love.

I want you to understand this full formula, this whole concept, this whole strategy in mind, in order for this formula to actually work for you.

If you are still wondering: "How can I save my relationship, or why aren't I making a connection with my mate?", there are 3 areas to look at.

The first step in my formula is to realize that you need to equip yourself with the right knowledge and understanding of your partner, why he or she thinks and behave as they do in various situations or events.

This is a big subject in itself! If you could find any books or courses which could help you understand and read your partner better, go get them! It's not enough possessing great magnetic power without an adequate understanding of your partner, especially the opposite sex, as men and women are very, very different. If you can equip yourself with a sound knowledge of why your mate behaves and think as they do, you'll have gained an upper advantage over other people to attract and keep your mate!

The second part of this is, you need to realize and have a sound knowledge of the principles and power of right thoughts, as well as the laws of the Universe. Ask yourself: "Why am I the one who CHOOSE the direction of my relationship?, why am I the one who creates my own relationship or marriage destiny?"

And the third part of the formula is your self cultivation - to constantly cultivate your personal magnetism and unique personality. This is because the Secret to re-attracting and keeping a true love is always about WHO YOU ARE, and not what you can do or not do. A shining personality is what will allow you to re-attract the love of your life effortlessly.

You need all three of these to work, and this is really important! I want you to really grasp this before you go any further.

So, if there are any people coming here thinking: "Well, all I need is doing positive visualizations, affirmations, and thinking right, and I can save my relationship (marriage)", then I can tell you, this is delusional thinking and these people are not in touch with reality. And even if someone manages to bring back a lost love using just one part of the whole formula, it may or may not last, and everything might go back to square one!

To ensure that you are finally able to achieve your aim of saving a relationship or marriage, you need to have all three parts of this formula working together - that's the BIG secret!

I've come upon a revelation! I think we want to be with someone from our past because we have unresolved issues with that person which we want to fix, or we want to be accepted by that person. May be also to do with hurt. It may be mainly the case. But I'm coming to realize that if someone doesn't want to be with you or you with them it's because may be they're not your soul mate or the love of your life....or you two aren't on the same frequency and vibrate at different levels.; so be it and someone better made for us will be there shortly!

Because I think most of my life I was after people, not experiences. I shall do it differently now.

I think the best way to do it is to work on attracting and manifesting the perfect relationship for you. If your ex fits, the you shall get him back. If not, you shall get the one meant for you.

That's what I think...and for that, I'm not going to work on attracting my ex back (though I miss him very much and still feel that we could end up together). My goal now is to attract my true love...the one for me... whoever that person may be.

Mira. I'm glad you've come up with this. I wanted to do something with my special one over the summer that I've not done for years, enjoy the summer with live music, and see a couple of concerts/gigs. Well I couldn't imagine doing it without her, and how I could afford it. Well I am now going to a few gigs with someone else, and loving it. I even got free tickets for a couple of them! Saved me hundreds of pounds. I put out there I wanted to do these things, didn't know how it'd happen, and 2 months ago, I had no idea I'd be looking forward to all these events! It's great!

So YES, go for experiences, on your own, or with a friend, or someone else! Do things with lots of different people, and don't focus on ONE person! Focus on you, and your friends, and eventually your lover/soul-mate... I am in contact with my previous partner, and it's very different, but I'm going along with it, and see what happens, a lot of barriers and trust still needs to be built from both parties! No pressure!

Puja, I recommend you visualize the right/perfect relationship for you and if your ex the one meant for you he will come back. By focusing on one person we're not really making the LOA work for our best...and also we're getting too attached to that person. That's what I've learned.

Mira. Thank you very much for your post. My fiance ended the engagement with me recently because his family forced him to due to our different cultures. I have been shifting from being hopeful and being totally heartbroken and being unable to let go. Then I kept on having the thought "(his name) come back to me..come back to me". Reading your tips, it made me realise that I was using LoA the wrong way.  I will give it a try!

My situation is a little different. I have attracted my ex back to me twice with the law of attraction. But he didnt 'hate' me.. he has blocked my phone number, blocked me from sending any yahoo sms messages, and he even claimed to be a girl who just got that phone number.. (i know he didnt change it).. he told me he was seeing someone else and going to put a stalking order on me and to leave him alone!!! Can i still use the LOA to win him back???
