if the one you love and are wanting to attract a relationship with you decided that is not what they want and wanted to just love someone else, would you still love them?

Actually let me twist this around! First off the only reason they would want to love some one else is bc you created that reality! Stop creating things you dont like and it wont have to be that way! You are love your are loyalty! Think about that 1!

and for any one that says some ppl cant attract there ex back is bc they are so not succeeding themselves! im kind of tired of the ppl saying they are exes for a reason! Yea still doesnt mean you cant do it! And if you believe that then there is your problem! If i wanted to hear that id go to anothersite full of negativity! I used to be very positive on here but all the new ppl that come on here filling the forum with doubt needs to open there minds a bit and feel your hearts with love bc after all we are nothing but love but our ego gets in the way of this! Gl i no longer wish to be negative so i wont be! Trying to fill this forum with positivity once again!

Yes, but it would be a different kind of love. There are people in my life who I have loved deeply that for one reason or another our relationship didn't work - romantic, platonic, etc. I wish them well and truly hope they have everything that they desire. But they are no longer a priority in my life, I am no longer "in love" with them.

Now if someone I am currently in love with (or desire to be in love with) decides they want someone else, ultimately, I want them to be happy and will let them go with the knowledge that we will find our way back to each other if that's what's meant to happen, but I will need a while to get to the point of being happy for them. I'm only human.

yes indeed that is what unconditional love is knj. at least that is my take on it as well.

mr positive, i appreciate that thought process, and that is indeed the type of thing you want to focus on, but that doesnt answer the question. the whole point of that question for me, is to check myself. am i wanting her back from a place of love, or pride. the way i figure it is if you cant love someone no matter what, then is that truly love or is it something else. like lust. or fear to be alone. or your pride stung. dunno just was gardening and trippin on it a bit today.

I can say this and this is just my own thing here but when my guy thought I didn't love him, and he convinced himself that I NEVER EVER loved him he was evil to me, just plain mean and cruel. Now I know he took on this attitude because he loved me and he was trying to cope and get over me but I did ask myself if he really did love me because if he truly did wouldn't it stand to reason that he would have my attitude and just want me to be happy regardless?

But then again, as I have said in the past......."THERE IS NO PLACE FOR EGO IN LOVE."

And his response to thinking I didn't love him, obviously was coming from a place of ego.

oh yes unconditional love putting no condition on it, loving no matter what but at same time you want to trip on getting them back! There should be no thinking about if they do love some one else bcjust the thought of it manifests it happening! I try now to not even play with that thought and just play with thoughts that feel good! Lol becoming a big abraham fan here

I'm not really answering your question, BUT! I just finished reading the book 'Being In Love' by Osho... and it blew my mind.
It's a really amazing read about love and 'relationships'.

hmmm ill try to remember to look for that the next time i head out pinky. and you are right about the ego and love knj. thats something that i learned this go around.

thats kinda interesting mr positive. i never once stopped to look at it as playing with the thought of her being with soemone else, honestly at this point stuff like that isnt that big of a deal for me. to me it was playing with the thought of unconditional love and just making sure thats what i feel. but i was also thinking a few other things a long with that when i was thinking about it.

and just to say i personally see no problem with asking yourself a question on something negative or even thinking about it. if your brain thinks it theres a reason. if you figure out why you thought it and correct it. but i also think that since we are given the ability to control our feelings and thoughts, that if you decide to ponder on something that is negative, if you do it from an objective manner, to explore and learn about it, you can also keep yourself from getting wrapped up emotionally in it. thus not really giving it any real energy beyond the process of thought. of which, if it only took a thought to manifest something, things would be a little different.

yeah true! in my experience i mean i played with that thought and got exactly that! Just saying that as a reminder for me! But yeah i know for sure im on the right track now that negativity has no place in my heart! love can kill all negativity! Ppl tho need to step it up! I did and i feel so stronger now!

I think it depends on the relationship you have with the person to begin with. If it is someone who has never been interested and never shown any interest whatsoever to be more than friends and has been very clear about it etc then I think it wouldn't make a difference because it is not like they kept your hopes up.
However, if it's someone you have a past with or some deeper or ambiguous relationship with, then it's a little more complicated. I think in any case it creates tension when the situation is unclear and it makes it even more difficult to give unconditional love when you don't know where you and they stand.
I think it's tricky to make a generality out of this question.
