Feeling beyond confused.

Hey guys, I haven't posted in awhile..

Well I feel like I've been doing good, but at the same time, it's been about 7 or 8 months since I started practising LOA fully, and although I have attracted so many amazing things into my life, it feels like my mood is still constantly up and down. It's so frustrating because I just want inner peace and to be happy for long periods of time, but as much as I try, and as much as I have times where I'm truly joyful, it doesn't last. Does anyone else have these issues??

I'm just so frustrated, and I know that only attracts more frustration, but if anyone can provide me with some tips and good words, I would greatly appreciate it!

it seems to me that you have unresolved issues that you have just temporarily covered up with a bandaid. have you tried meditating and clearing any blockages? Stefzilla posted this video and i think it might help you. she also has a tip in how to change negative thinking...

Additionally, have you been practicing anything to help you grow spiritually and/or grow more in tune with your higher self?

you stated that your emotions are frequently up and down so i can only assume maybe thats why you felt amazing contacting him but your ex didnt reciprocate the feeling. He might have gotten a mixed vibe. In addition, when i get any notion about contacting my ex I always try to meditate on it and really see if its my ego telling me (even if i am in a great mood). And so far, my higher self keeps telling me not to because he will soon. I learned from practicing and learning more about intuition that your ego is very inconsistent. So if you suddenly feel like you need to contact your ex stop yourself and ask is this my higher self or is this my ego playing games with me. The ego wants you to fail so the ego can tell you "see LoA doesnt work" which will lead to frustration and disappointment. Your higher self never wants you to fail. Thus if you wait a few hours, days maybe even a week and you NEVER have doubt and get all these signs handed to you then obviously its the universe saying its time.

I dont know if any of this makes sense, but i hope it helps.

That is very true what you have said, but I just can't figure out HOW to get rid of these issues once and for all. I have been doing a lot for spiritual growth, such as yoga and reading texts and stuff, but it all seems to help temporarily.

Also, with my ex, I was receiving many signs and I really felt confident. So I cannot believe that it didn't work out.

I'm going to watch the video though, and hopefully it helps!

Why would your ego not want LOA to work? The ego wants what it wants - if it believed LOA would work, it would believe that this is a way of getting what it wants and should be happy to go along with it.

I never understand this argument when I see it, but I would like to.

The ego doesn’t want you to fail, not at all. The ego is just able to process what is in front of you. So it keeps telling you something isn’t there, while LoA teaches you to act like it is. It’s a battle of your mind and faith. Once your ego and faith line up together.. its manifestation time lol

The ego is not a bad thing, without it we would all be lost in our own weird fantasy worlds.

Hi

I understand how you feel. I am up and down like a yo yo. Last night I was distraught and feeling so anxious about everything to do with my emotions regarding 'him' but today I feel very positive.  As some of you know me and him work together so I see him everyday and I have realised how my moods also effect the energy between us.  Yesterday we did not have too much contact in the office and I was really not sending out good vibes. Today I have really tried to let everything go (and believe me I have a sackful of hurt around this situation). He has been friendly and chatty and being quite familiar with me. Now I am not jumping and rushing and reading things into this as I am soooo far from having let go but, it confirms to me that if I can set aside my fears and longing, if only for a few hours a day, the energy I send out is completely different. Just for today it is OK that we are not together and all the other crap surrounding our situation. Just for today I feel OK about it and I am not going to think about how I might feel tomorrow.

I can also say that yesterday I did A LOT of EFT tapping and also sent Reiki healing to myself (I am fortunate in that I practise Reiki and its an amazing tool), this could also contribute to the sense of peace I feel today.

Take one step at a time, it is a looooong process and the whole point is that we come to a stage where we don't have fear and where it is OK for our loved ones not to answer, to see other people, to not want to talk to us etc, that is what letting go is. I myself am a long way from that but working on it, or myself. I realise that fear is my biggest bugbear. The fear of being alone, him abandoning me, not loving me anymore and so on. So my first step to work on is the fear, nothing else. This is what I am using EFT on.

Also thank you for the video glee619. It really opened my eyes to what an effect we have on our environments, the whole thing about our bodies being 90 percent water and so changing based on our thoughts is fascinating.

A yo-yo is just what I feel like. Yesterday was very good, breezed through and had a ball. Today was just hard, for no apparent reason. On the other hand, I did break down and cry for a good long while. Needed to get it out of my system. Weirdly though, as soon as I finished, wiped my tears away, decided to cheer up and logged on here, was actually doing some serious thinking on how your emotions have the power to overcome your will power if not checked. Out of nowhere he texted me back and we actually ended up having a conversation. He's opening up to me again. Ever so slightly, but it's a start and I am sooo grateful. We were the closest friends for ever and I'm glad he feels he can still talk to me. In a way, we're getting rid of all negativity and suppressed emotions together as well as on our own. It's helping me find balance. We never really went NC, but we're finding our own balance to the situation, I guess it's just different for everyone. But what I wanted to say was, sometimes a shift of mood is all it takes. Either you find something that makes your day better because you have a new attitude and way of looking at things compared to ten minutes ago. Or because of your positive emotions, something positive is pulled towards you and again your day becomes better.

so i think i totally communicated that ego part wrong. Stefillza worded it more properly. What i meant to say is that the ego will want you to "fail" because it wants to say that the loa doesnt work (thats an example) to prove to you that your thinking crazy...because like Stefzilla said that the ego can only process what is in front of you. but until you are able to align yourself with higher self and etc and get in balance than thats where the magic works. :] thanks for clearing that up.
