Hey! Ankur told me, kindly, that I can get my ex back and that time does'nt matter. I have another question, I don't know whether my ex is with someone or not, could I still attract him back if he is?

I just wanted to voice my personal opinion about this. I don't think the law of attraction is meant to be used in this way... You shouldn't focus your energies on trying to attract someone in particular into your life. Instead, use your visualizations to attract your ideal man into your life. You know?

You will both be better off, I believe.

I may have attracted my boyfriend back had I not consciously used LOA, or I may not have. All I know is that I DID attract him back and because I used the principals of LOA  (being grateful, letting go, loving and working on myself, etc.) I attracted my man back into what is now a happier, more satisfying and healthier relationship. Had I not applied LOA and he had come back, it may have been the same negative and miserable relationship that prompted him to walk away in the first place. I agree that some people think they can use LOA as a magic wand to try and get their ex or a particular person into a loving relationship. But as far as attracting an ex back, if there is some strong connection that was never lost and if whatever circumstances or attitudes that caused the breakup change for the better, it is very possible for a happy reunion. I didn't contact my guy after the breakup nor did I beg him to come back. I just worked on myself and I loved him unconditionally and sent him loving vibes from a distance, while knowing in my heart that we would be together again. I didn't use vision boards, I just put a vision of him in my heart and mind. I had plenty of chances to date other men, but I decided that I had to learn how to be happy and complete on my own. The amazing thing was how he contacted me just 5 days after I said to the universe that it was time I let go of the desperation to have him in my life. And here we are today. Still together and happy 10 months after he first contacted me post breakup. Sure I wondered if I should move on for good, but I am glad I didn't because I know what my heart has always known: We were created for each other.

So to all of you who want to attract your ex back,
 Search your heart. And by that I mean, your heart. Not your mind. Your mind only thinks it knows, but your heart really does know. And don't confuse the two. I can't tell you how many times I thought I really loved someone because my mind tricked me; and when someone else came along I fell out of love with the person I only thought that  I loved. I know I will never fall out of love with my man. After two years, I love him more with every day!

To those of you who want to attract a relationship with a particular person that you haven't had a past relationship with, Its okay to hope that maybe you will get the chance one day to be with that person as long as you don't put too much focus on what you don't have. Focusing on not having it will give you more of not having it. That's how LOA works. Go about your life and be happy as you were. One day, that person may be attracted to your happiness, confidence and positive attitude or someone even more ideal will be attracted you.

So yes guruinterviews, you are right to a certain point. Some people would be better off putting their focus and energy into attracting someone who might be in their future.Someone they haven't even met yet. But whose to say that ideal man isn't the particular one they are trying to attract? I am grateful I let the universe handle things for me and I am grateful the universe sent me the particular man I wanted to attract back into my life. I can't imagine what my life would have been like with anyone else.

I say let go of the outcome, send it out to the universe to handle, and the universe will send you whoever is right for you. Whether it is a particular person (or an ex,) or someone better.

After reading these last couple of posts, I have changed my opinion about this whole attracting your ex back into your life... If you do it by working on yourself, I think that is a very good idea. I mean if you are in love with that person, you should be doing whatever is necessary to get together with them... It only makes sense that you'd use the LOA. And this is MUCH better than just getting back together with your ex without the LOA and then going back to a destructive relationship... Thanks for your insight on this issue. It really cleared things up for me. I might use the LOA myself for a specific person I care about.

Katie, if you really want to have patrick back, then you have to change your attitude ASAP. Right now, you have handed the whole of your power to him. You are unhappy when hes an ass to you, and you are happy when hes good to you. And if he says that he wants to date other women, then you are attempting suicide!! Can you even start to imagine the TREMENDOUS WEIGHT you have put on his shoulders??? Just try to bring yourself in his place...imagine having someone clinging on your neck 24/7. You might say that you ACT like its not like that....but dont fool yourself. Acting like it, its no good...patrick will know the truth, even if you pretend to be the happiest and most independent woman in the whole world. Katie, all we are is energy...and you cant disguise the negative and clinging energy you transimtting right now.

Patrick says he wants to date and sleep with other women...SO WHAT? I have heard and even witnessed the same thing many times. my guy slept with others, and slept some more, and even had a real gf at some point. This is what he wanted to do...but let me ask u sth..where are all those women now?? why isnt he with one of them? ill tell you why...because some times people just need to do their thing...my guy thought that hapiness lies with other girls, and what was i supposed to do? Try to convince him for the opposite? or just let him try it...so that he will know for sure that hapiness DOES NOT LIE with them? When he said that life is too short to live it with one woman, i let him do his thing. And whn the time came, i, the crazy one, the one he didnt love, the one he was so adamant that he didnt want to be with, was invited in his house...im the one whos going to spend 5 weeks with him, living and eating and sleeping with him...i was the one who really doesnt want to lose. So what would u say, his girls worked against me or FOR me? i would say the latter....they were my allies in showing him how much better i was, after all. What makes u think that it wont be so for u too?? After all, life is only what we perceive it to be. Why are u attemtring suicide instead of just let him do it? Why do u have to be so manipulative and controlling?? Why dont u just LISTEN to what he has to say instead of resisting his words with your despair?

And answering the question u put to Swet Spirit, a lady that managed to bring back a ken that was as indifferent as your patrick is and as my guy used to be : if there was no connection, darling, you would never want to have Patrick back...you wuldnt even care. attraction always work two way...just the fact that you actually WANT to manifest him, its proof that the connection is there

That is exactly what I needed to read today!! 

I was having very doubtful moments the last few days and you may have helped me out of my funk!!

I have been so patient waiting for this week to come, this is the week my guy's divorce will be final and as it crept closer this past week all I was thinking was doubtful thoughts and a wondering if I even really wanted him anymore. 

I do!

But this week has been fraught with people telling me to forget him, he's no good, I am too good for him......after a while it wears on your mind, and then the doubts creep in.

How a month of sending no energy out to him, no loving thoughts, no writing in my journal, no visualizations, no affirmations of us, no mind movies, no PS, just completely cut off of him..........it makes you feel so disconnected!

So thank you for setting it straight in my mind!  I appreciate your helpful post.

Katie, Leyline is correct that all of us have had to feel completely  let down and devastated by our lovers, then we had to collect ourselves and put  ourselves on the track to manifest some good things because we are important  and need to love ourselves. Sweet Spirit told us that she loved Ken, but  focused on herself. She decided to do a great job at school, with her children  and grandchildren. Because she became love, she got love! Start your gratitude  list today! Next set some goals that do not have to do with him! Get out and  meet people so you can have some good things come your way. It is possible to  get that connection back, but go for a better one because the old one needs  fixing! We all have days that we feel devastated! I think there are true biorhythms  at work in the U too and some days it is more difficult to stay UP when life  hands us what we did not think we were attracting. But sad truth, we were  attracting without conscious affirmations.
