kudos to you i find that a lot of times when we constantly think about our "desire" we are interfering with it. so the letting go while keeping strong faith is the key to manifesting. i think you should cherish every moment from now on. you are at peace with yourself which can only be a good sign. i'm sure it will only get better...

I really need your help Galia in cutting the negative thoughts.. my mental chatter was so strong that it keeps negating even in the middle of doing affirmations. Then I see that C has another guy round last nite to her place and he is comforting her on the loss of a loved one.. which further makes my work feel pointless - it's like I feel I am deluding myself.. plus when she tells her friend about me " there is no way we are ever getting back together I think it's just a matter of time before he realises it?"

So with that hurt it is really hard to even get through an hour, a day, a week.. I feel that all my power is gone and that I am clutching at straws here.. Also I keep getting the same as usual from people telling me "forget her" and "it wasn't meant to be"  and other such wise comment. Other friends say I should be angry at her and stop thinking about her at all.. 

My feelings and what this person means to me in my life simply cannot be switched out like a lightswitch.
I can tell you that I feel it will be some miracle IF we ever do get back together. She is a very strong willed independently minded person who once she makes a decision (like to have dumped me) then she never looks back.

I am very low at this time and no amount of money, travel, counselling or support it would seem can fix me.

Thank you for your post E1975 as I am at the SAME PLACE exactly where you are in regards to my ex bf 110%!

There is no cure for me either. I have been able to "move on" pretty well from past relationships, but for some reason not this one.

As a matter of fact, I just awoke from a dream about him about 30 min. ago -  the dream basically echoed what had already happened between us.

Just know that there is someone else out there that at this exact moment knows exactly how you are feeling and what you are going through. Especially on the part where you said that no amount of money, counseling, etc  (paraphrasing your words) will ever fix you. My ex too is just like your ex - extremely strong willed and never looks bad no matter how much they might be hurting too.

I know there is an answer for us and LOA is apart of it, I just don't know to what extent. I know the experts here know. I know that there is power of thought and power to thought.

EC1975 - Trust me in saying that...........I know EXACTLY how you feel though................Exactly how you feel.

To all those looking for the ' final solution' :-)) to this problem - I HAVE FOUND IT!

The answer is -

1) STOP STOP STOP with all the longing!

2) Master the art of POSITIVE SELFISHNESS. Ever wonder why selfish people always have people who love them and are loyal to them? They radiate a certain vibration, that's why !! You can't beat this law, so join it!! Think only of yourself (not of him/her), pamper yourself, enjoy the attention of those who do admire you, HAVE FUN, FORGET ABOUT THE LOSER WHO THOUGHT YOU WERE NOT WORTH IT! By positive selfishness i mean - be selfish but don't be hurtful to others.

3) I applied this formula - now my ex has eyes only for me, sends me the most flattering messages a woman would like to have, AND WHAT'S IMPORTANT IS - This man is no pathetic wimp, and has a lot of choices when it comes to women!

It's a different angle on what Galia has been telling you, but it is still the same advice.  Become detached from the outcome. Perhaps reading that will give you more insight into how that works.  I know it makes it easier to detach when you focus on yourself instead of your ex.

In order for LOA to work, you need to trust that your request to God has been heard and prepare yourself to receive what you asked for.  Read Dhruv's thread, she said she is working on making herself beautiful for when she is reunited with her love.  What are you doing?  Moping around?  Is that how you want your love to see you?  As someone who is sad and dependent on them?  Someone who will suck them dry for happiness because you are unable to find it on your own?

I don't mean to be mean, but everyone seems to come to this forum for coddling and expects the Moderators to perform miracles for them, but they've given you the answers already...trust it.  Find your inspiration in the success stories when you are down.  Imagine yourself feeling their joy and pretend it as if it you were experiencing it yourself.  Create your own defenses against the bad thoughts.  If you must, take a week or two off from the affirmations and focus on yourself and doing things that make you feel good.  Start a journal of all the good things that happen and remember those things whenever you get down.

If you don't fight through this and find a way to take care of yourself, you will continually sabotage your efforts to get your ex back.

You're totally right on everything you said - this is a good link what you put here, I really appreciated reading...and I wanted to add, that I didnt put a different direction comparing to this link, it's the same - be happy no matter what, and be a person that has something to give...NOT A NEEDY PERSON!

This is "the thing" - people are attracted to you when you have something to give- when you are independent emotionally!!!

I used to say this so many times!!!   does anybody listen?

FIRST YOUR INNER WORK and THEN you'll get what you've asked for!

If you want an attractive person, the one that gives you love so you have to become an attractive person too that has something good to give and not only to take...

Who wants a needy person that emotionally depends on you? Person that needs somebody so he can be happy??? You have to be happy first by yourself!!! Alone.....and then build a HEALTHY relationship!

I'll try to write an article for the blog about fighting negativity - this time that becomes urgent of what I see...

But TEREZA said it all good - take care of yourself first - do nice things, and a diary of gratitude EVERYDAY! Do something for you!!!

well my news is.. i have just had a very random 20 minute conversation with my ex! it was defo unexpected. i have been doing what galia  and tereza suggested, its hard to get your head around, but you will feel better for it.

I want to add here ..We all are sailing in a same boat...want ex back..."..i feel the same you all feel ...but i have managed to feel differently...( Thanx to galia and all other moderators and members).


I trust on three things only..1. Faith in GOD is great..and sees me everytime 2. Faith in My LOVE...3.Faith in the advice of Moderators here( They are soughting " Be happy ...Make yourself ready to recieve the results) and i logically think it is correct...

If you have read my post ..you must be knowing ..i am not doing job..not going out except for worship , since last 8 months i am not connected with any of my friend s or relatives except MY SISTER, BROTHER..
But i have managed to be happy( Ya things are little difficult but , not too difficult)

Some activities which helps me preparing myself for the result are...
1.Meditation 2.Flower therapy - decorating house , playing with flowers , whatever ..3.i have started updating myself what happening in the industry..so the day i join job , i find it easy to work  ..not the different world.4.Watching TV5.Learning his favorite dishes for him 6.Shopping for him 7.He is a cardiologist , so i am updating myself on the NEW EVENTS IN HIS FIELD ..so i can help him proffessionaly 8.decorating my house as we both wanted..wished
AND the first and important thing ..Am staying with GOD...i talk with him and he makes me calm and gives strength.

This is what ...i do ..You can try many different things which suits you..BUT ATLEAST NO NEGATIVE THOUGHT
I experienced that " Noone will get anything with negativity"..( Galia knows how " terfic person I am ...a bundle of queries..!!!!!!!!!!!)But i am helping myself.

You may find it funny but yesterday only i prepared a wedding card and Gave First invitation to GOD...and i know very soon i will share it with all of you.
