Detachment is close...

So it's been almost 3 months since I last saw my guy and what an interesting time it has been...a lot of emotions and obstacles to overcome so grateful for this forum...I'm feeling less needy for him now, feeling peaceful about him and life in general and focusing on other things...I've even been dating a bit ...not really looking for anything but more so just for fun....I'm starting to even feel like if I sent him a text and he didn't respond it wouldn't crush me...which is definitely a big sign of detachment I know...I get negative thoughts every now and then but they are less prominent now..I don't worry about the girl he is with now too much anymore either which is such a big weight of my shoulders lol..i think to myself now ugghhh why was I carrying all that around for so long...so pointless lol...but I also see how it was part of the process in letting go...I still have dreams about him every now then...still see his face in mind and think of things he used to say...but I don't feel as sad about it all now...I still have bad days but they are way less now then before and I am just plain happier all the way around and grateful..learned so much about how it is so important to be complete within yourself first before you can really be with anyone, so insanely important !!! I know I'm not all the way there yet but definitely getting close oh and been focusing on me a lot too:). Almost 90 days in and I'm so proud of how far I've come just wanted to share ..we can definitely all get there:) just believe!!

Thank you so much for posting this!! 
I've been upset over my ex "ignoring me" lately and going crazy over every little post on his facebook wall or every time he comes online to play a game.  I have to just stop driving myself crazy, it's not healthy.  But you're right I already notice I'm having fewer bad days than I did a month ago, and I hope it will only get better.

Also the "desire is coming" post today was so inspirational.  Whenever I'm having a bad day or I'm doubting if any of this will actually work, or if it will really get better, I know I can just come on here and read something like this and have my spirits lifted

I love this forum for a pick me up too!! It's helped me so much I can't even tell you...and I'm definitely starting to feel now how letting go can actually be the best thing for all of us going through this..definitely a "lightbulb" moment:)

peaches, i can sooo relate to you and i bet we all can!
thank you for sharing your journey about ups and downs and getting detached and your positive vibes you get here. i do get them as well and i really want to be here, keeps me really on track since my last weeks have been up and down too.

we have to believe and trust that all the things are happening for our best!

you can be proud for getting that far, cause i think some people might lose their path when things doesnt happen that fast. but we didnt

So true crazy soul!!! We have been so blessed to have this forum and each other and we've all grown stronger through this journey or journeys we've had to take...it's not always easy but if I think back to almost 3 months ago I would have never been able to see myself were I am now...but I am here and so happy for it:)!!
