Schenderson...
I am thankful that you are willing to help me. So far I have read "The Secret" and I have also read several of the Esther and Jerry Hicks books. For some reason I haven't gotten much from them. I haven't really manifested anything.
They have certainly made me a much more positive person and I am much happier. So when the things that I was trying to manifest never came, I was okay with that.
I currently have a vision board, which I started yesterday. I have a picture of a couple on it, so that I could possibly attract my relationship that way.

It truly is my pleasure to help!! In regard to your vision board, have fun with it!! Get a couple magazines, cut pictures of ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you want! Cut out sayings that inspire you. This is a FEEL GOOD project and then hang it where you will see it everyday.
You say things NEVER manifested. Well there are a couple things to take into consideration. One, is we must BE whatever it is that we want. If we want love, we must love ourselves whole heartedly. The second is, in order to add more good to your life, you must be grateful for what is already in it.
I like what Sean is saying below. It is a good exercise. However, if I may adjust a bit. Start by listing all that you are grateful for in your life. "i am grateful for the air I breathe""I am grateful for the roof over my head""I am grateful for my good health" You choose. At the bottom of that list, add to it the things you desire as though they already exist. Basically incorporate what Sean suggested. "I am grateful for my loving and supportive girlfriend""I am grateful for my healthy relationship with her""I am grateful for her beautiful smile""I am grateful for her fun loving attitude." Once again, those are just examples. You choose.
Read this list every night before you go to sleep and forget about it. Do it again the following night. Really FEEL the positive emotions when you read these. In the morning, in the mirror, repeat to yourself out loud "I AM LOVE""I AM Confidence""I AM TRUE Happiness" etc. Then go about your day enjoying your life. This is a very good place to start.

For you, I'd recommend writing out the specific qualities you want in a partner ... the specific traits ... how you are with each other ... the energy of the person ... what you're able to discuss and laugh about ... etc. Get very specific ... don't worry about how it's written with this first step, just brainstorm it out in bullet points. Then, once you're done, go back and make it concise words or statemtns, such as (*Fun * Loving *Loves the LOA and Metaphysics *Funny and playful, etc.) ... finally, get some photos of a couple together that represents that and post it on your wall ..
