Hey guys, this question has been analysed and dealt many times on this forum and on other websites too but still I cant get clear of this so I thought I’d open the topic once again so that it could help everyone and newbie’s also.. do share whatever ur thoughts are..

Can You Use Law of Attraction to Attract a Specific Person Into Your Life?

Specific person may be an ex or a person ur in love with(one sided) or even when that person doesn’t want to have a romantic relationship with u and so and so.. I’ve done a lot of readings about attracting a specific person and like to share what they concluded..
 
1)When you decide that you want a loving relationship with someone and that you are open to receiving it any way, the universe wants to bring it to you then that’s law of attraction and being a vibrational match for it.

I totally agree with this.
 
2)As because another person is involved and this person has his own intentions you cannot control what he will do, and you cannot ask the universe to force someone to feel a certain way about you.
 Now, that is not to say that he will not come back into your life.  It could actually happen that way.  But you can’t ask the universe to bring you a certain person. That’s like black magic or mind control in the sense that you are asking the universe to make something happen.  What you really want to do is open yourself to receive a loving relationship and prepare yourself to receive that love.  What if the universe is trying to send you the perfect guy and you are insisting it be this other one?

This one concerns with the free will of that specific person we desire to attract.. Why it’s that we cant ask for that specific one when its good for both the persons involved and for everyone else too(those persons families and friends).. I guess this isn’t sort of forcing/compelling anyone to love us as we are doing this from a place of deep and true love.. also we are doing this in a spiritual and psychic way and the other person doesn’t even know that we are doing so and so to be with them.. we just act normal with the person we are in love with(as in my case, I love him but I don’t express it to him and just being a good friend of him with the belief in my heart coz when I expressed my desire months ago he said for sure that he’ll never love me as im not his type).. but Im still pursuing.. why? Coz I love him truly and I believe and will keep believing that things will turn out some day.. it could turn out in whatever way and im not clinging with the 'how'.. coz i realize that to the Universal power that created us there's nothing like impossible and impossible is nothing.. in this case if we have a strong love and unshakable faith and belief why’s that that the person will not love us the same way as we do??

This is one of the greatest quest on earth. At least once in a life time, most people have been questioning this issue, as well as being in this type of situation and even have been through this situation one way or another, and certainly, one of them is me.

I have a story to share about this.

Start with the classic discovery, 2599 years ago Gautama Bhuddha’s enlightenment
Buddha has discovered deep into the classic law that all being in the whole Universe are influenced by the cycle call Wheel of Karma, the mother of cause and effect. A portion of his advice relating to love is:

* Whether you love the person but the person does not love you...or
* Whether the person loves you but you don’t love the person...or
* Whether you and the person love and draw into each other effortlessly

Situations above are connected to the Wheel of Karma, which is the action you have been done so long ago even before your current physical body. Certainly, it may sound weird to many people, but if you study Abraham Hick, you will definitely familiar that he mention about “your being before born into today’s physical body” Yes, this is what I am talking about here and if you practice into finer level of meditation you will gain better understand about higher-self and physical body elements.

Now, how do you determine soul mate, according to Buddha brief advice, the soul mate will feel Loving Kindness Metta attraction toward each other and it must be felt by both side. Because the two people have been in great love long through each physical life and the Loving Kindness was projected deep into their higher-self, causing powerful Law of Attraction that draw each other to meet again in the right time and space and fall in love at no doubt and no effort. This is only a brief ideal, though.

Now let’s move on to the modern view, the New Age
Almost all Law of Attraction and Sub Conscious Mind experts have been written and made speech around the world for decade to “not be too specific”

They do not mean that being specific in apply the Law is prohibit or an absolute not-possible. You can try if you want to and you can try as long as you happy with it. But there is just no guaranteed of the result.

My own experience
I did attract specific quality of woman, I did attract her present (visualize seeing her somewhere, meet some place and being alone etc so we can talk), I did influence her in some specific things with sub-conscious mind power play (made her respond to different channel messages etc), but in the end I did not make her my lover because her ultimate heart does not love me. 

So… am I successful in attracting specific person? It can be both Yes and No, I attracted specific situation and action from time to time that I want with this woman, but I did not get her heart, well if I am happy with that, then my attraction is successful. But if my ultimate goal is to have her my girlfriend, then I am not successful in this case.

What I am pointing out is
Attracting specific person can be done at some level, but to dominate whole body heart and mind is needed to be considered. I understand that everybody say to themselves that they are not clinging and they are not attaching, me too, but it is a-must-to realize that the moment you have this issue, you are making self attached to it already (whether you know it or not)

Here comes true story; I know two guys (not personally) …this is what happens:
First guy:
There is a guy who loves a girl since they were kid, the girl does not like him though. When this guy wrote her a love letter, she would rip and throw it into the bin.

Then, they both got separated when they entered the college, because they move house and move school etc. The guy still in love with this girl and his heart unconditionally dedicate to this woman. 10 years later he contacted this woman and they started conversation bit by bit.

Due to time has changed so hate can become love; this is also confirmed by Buddha that everything changes over time, especially feeling and emotion. So the woman started to have good feeling toward the guy day by day. Just last year that they got married.

Second guy:
Another story is also a guy whom this time went into relationship with the woman. But some conflict made the woman felt bad and left him. The guy was left with absolutely no contact. She moved house and erased all contact so this man can never find her again.

Once again, this guy is faithfully dedicated his heart to this love. 5 years later they found each other by extreme Law of Attraction surprise. In the middle of crowded shopping mall, the guy slipped by his own feet and gentle bumped into this woman that just walked into the right time. That how he found her!!!

Then they started conversation and restructured their relationship. A couple years ago they just got married.

My conclusion
The word “to not be too specific” doesn’t mean being specific is not possible. But you need a self-check for how dedicated you are and how much you willing to sacrifice life and opportunity of the remaining just to one person that there is no guaranteed for the certain result, like the first guy that took him 10 years, this is something that very rare people will dare to do.

I am pretty sure that the two guys in my sample above know nothing about The Law of Attraction and that is the key to their success. Sometime, without knowing how the Law works is more effective than know too much about it. This is exciting isn’t it…

Until now, I may not really answer the question precisely in to Yes or No/ Can or Cannot. My purpose is to share my story for people to think along. Because in the end, this issue itself also cannot be answered specifically YES or NO, too.

My life after I have survived from longing for specific person
Life is choice; today I choose to live my life detaching to all kind of specific person. Because I discover that attaching to specific person who commit that he/she does not love you is heavenly suffering (feel beauty of love with pain stuck in the core of heart at the same time).

The Law of Attraction is creative and powerful. It can apply for goodness in many area of life and of course there is the person who matches our criteria that will only come at the right time. Our job is to improve ourselves and be ready for the upcoming person.

Hey Peter thanks alot for the post.. the two stories were really inspiring though 10 years of break is pretty much long I think.. i guess we both are working on similar situations.. in the very beginning when he ignored me i concluded to myself that i cant move anymore and any work to get his heart again would be so stupid thing to do on this earth, after that I started to use the LoA and now its been months since i started practising it.. but i really Let Go only a few weeks before and started to move on with my life but still being a friend to him..

IMO i think its all about one's situation and the efforts and pain they are willing to put over on this specific person which works for them.. LoA doesn't make the person we desire to be with to fall in love with us but it's creates a situation and a kinda attraction for them to consider us.. and its only us who must take any action to make them love us.. they may either choose to be with us or may not and its all upto them..

I've read this somewhere that while working on specific persons "The success level is upto only how much u believe it's possible".. there are member's in our forum who've had great successes in similar situations.. we can take inspiration from them and its better  to work on our own to get a conclusion whether it's possible or not..

I agree that we have choices but if we really need a specific thing then the key to that is LETTING GO.. just LET GO..

Thank you Peter for sharing this to us After my breakup, I realized that I will not be happy with my ex should the relationship continued, so I didn't attract him. From that, it gave me so much clarity what are the qualities that I do want in a man to be happy and still affirming and include that in my visualizations. I am open to all possibilities, the nationality, the age, for as long as he have those qualities mmmm if it will be my ex, then he will be a changed man when that time comes

How true Mahi Loving. But we can't "make" anyone love us, we can only show them that we have made changes, that we are becoming better persons, that the past relationship is dead and gone and we are willing to build on new foundations for a happier relationship. And the "specific person" gets attracted into that whirlpool of change too.
