Am I on the right track attracting my ex back?

Hi there!
Need some advice from you. I am new on this forum. I am using LOA now for two weeks, to attract my boyfriend back to me. We have had a relationship during 5 years, not living together. April this year he said that he did not love me enough, and broke up with me (I leave all the details for that, it is not so important).
Since that time I really have put no pressure on him, stayed light-hearted and upbeat, and let him initiate all the contact (and so far he does and it is becoming more now). I know we need this time to get a better relationship, cause I know in the end we WILL be together again! I know he has to sort things out for himself. Anyway, during this process I re-discovered The Secret! Wow, it is great. I am doing now all the positive things, visualizing every day we are happy together, stay positive, and doing my affirmations. But here's my question: In my affirmations I say that we are happy together now, etc. But now I am reading in postings here that you can put a date on it? Is this not against the Universe's time phrame? And how do I apply this, because in my affirmations I speak of "now", f.e. "we are happy together now". Any suggestions for me on putting a time phrame on it? I already put a date in my calender, saying: him and I are together again! But anyway, maybe I should put this in an affirmation, or is this engough? Any suggestions are very welcome! Thanks everyone for helping me out!

Hi Inge, welcome and well done on the progress so far. Actually most of the people giving advise out on this forum recommend NOT having a specific date in mind. It is easier, as if you get to that date and the thing that you (in this case your boyfriend back) hasn't happened then it can really knock you back. Small things maybe using dates, but when it comes to relationships I would personally recommend against it, unless you are a very very powerful attractor. It's about when you feel right and going with it, taking you time and rebuilding.

Thanks, this is a clear reply. Although some posts say you can put a date on attracting your ex back.... And .... I do not know if I am such a powerful attractor! I have to find out. So no, I will not focus too much on a date and will be going on with the things I do already, this feels best for me and I am sure this will give me the best outcome!
