A weird thing happened, any thoughts ?

A strange conversation I'd like to share with you.

I saw my doctor this morning (general practician)

This man has always been so very supportive, so very kind, he always encouraged me to "listen to my heart" and believe in Patrick, he made himself available for me to be able to call him any time, even at 3 o'clock in the morning if I was feeling bad. A wonderful doctor. I have know him for over 5 years.

Well, this morning, when I told him that things are improving with Patrick, I thought he would be surprised, and delighted....he shocked me when he replied :

"Your relationship with Patrick is very, very ambiguous.
It will NEVER work out. Get that into your mind.
In exactly one month, you will be back here, crying,  and you will tell me that it's over"

Huh ? I felt like sprinking him with some Holy Water and calling the local Church for an exorcist lol.

I said : Are you a doctor ? or a fortune teller ? where are the tarot cards, where is the cristal ball ?

He said : I am only telling you the truth.

Has something like this ever happened to you ? You start manifesting, slowly but surely, and you're in a positive, detached mode at last.
Then someone  tries to deflate your beautiful balloon, someone you  never expected would say something so downright negative, like if he was trying to hurt me 

I can't for the life of me, understand why all of a sudden he is so negative, like if he was compelled by some evil force to try to hurt me. Like is some supernatural evil force was in control and trying to make me fall into a low place again. I just couldn't believe my ears, what he said is the opposite of what he has always encouraged me to believe.

Does such a thing exist ? Any thoughts ?

Well, he didn't succeed, I was not hurt, just dismayed... and I'm changing doctors.

I don't know what was wrong with your doctor.but i just can tell you stay away from him.may be he thinks you live in your dreams and build castles in the air....BUT you should not pay any attention to him.sometimes the most supportive people around us tell us worst things we have not heard from any one else.my mother always tell me you will never hear from him again.although i feel down when i hear that,but immediately i say myself,hey Ava,it doesn't matter what others think,your thinking and beliefs make your reality...

I had a weird moment this week like that too!
My dream is to move back to California. 2 days ago I got an email from a blogger that I very much respect, who wrote a long post about why she is leaving California and how it is a horrible place for small business owners (she has some sort of internet business). It made me wonder if that was a sign that I should not move to California, but then I thought...maybe her moving out of California is kind of like a space is opening up in the the state for me? (two spaces cause her boyfriend is moving too )

Anyway, I think you made the right decision to change practitioners. I'm sure what he said was just an observation of the past and not a prediction and that he meant well and wasn't trying to hurt you. But it's clear he's not on the same page as you.

Katie I agree with Tereza. The doctor was just basing his idea on what happened in the past. My mother often tells me that Ken will walk out of my life again like he did last summer. In her opinion Ken doesn't want to marry me because he wants the freedom to leave anytime he grows bored of his life with me. My mother is basing her prediction on his actions of the past. I can't change mothers (like you can doctors,) but I can choose not to believe that what she says is true. I've wondered the same thing myself. Will he leave again if the going gets tough? Actually I no longer care of he leaves. I was in constant fear that he would leave last summer and he did leave me. I am not concerned over whether he will leave (or not) because I really don't need him and I would be fine and happy without him. Seriously! That doesn't mean I don't love him, but loving him unconditionally would be wanting him to be happy with whatever he chooses to do in his life. He knows this and I think that is what is attracting him into wanting to stay with me.

 What a contrast from last summer! It's amazing how knowing the laws of attraction changed me for the better. I am so grateful!

Im gonna throw and interesting twist into this.  Its something I have experienced time and time again.  Just as there is positive there is negative........we live in a world that unfortunately has grown very negative.  More people have no hope then have hope right now it seems.  I think that at times there are tests.  Not tests thrown at us from the positive side of the universe but tests thrown at us from the negative side of the universe.   Kinda like star wars.   its why i have liked that movie, more sense learning loa.  Its easier and less work in this day and age to not believe then to believe.  I am not sure if this negativity comes from no where or comes from a deep rooted fear that we havent faced yet.  I tend to think its the second.  Also remember that when someone has a poison inside of them....the human mind naturally tries to release it.  The only way to release it is to spread it to someone else.  This temporarily makes someone feel better, until the guilt of what they said or did kicks in and the cycle starts over for them.     
The positive thing about this whole interaction is the fact that YOU WILL NOT LET IT WAIVER YOUR BELIEFS!  Figure the Doc was having a bad day.  Maybe his wife or love interest blew him off.  You have come this far and literally over night.  You energy is stronger then his.  Think of it as a test to either accept what he says as truth or accept your own reality.  I am sure you know which one to choose.   I also believe this is why we should keep things to ourselves.  We let it out and it opens up a door for the dark side to creep in and try to do what it does.   This may all be far fetched in a few ways.  But I know with out evil there is no good.   Evil is the blunt loud and annoying type and good is the quiet strong type.

We do have this in common as well as our names....

Yesterday, I was on the phone with a friend of mine who from the beginning had been so supportive of me and my guy and us finding our way back to each other.

I was telling him about a benefit that my guy might be at this weekend and how I was trying to decide to go or not and he lambasted me, telling me that he believes he will NEVER EVER COME BACK TO ME. 

He is just done!  He then said, he could be wrong but if he does come back......run in the opposite direction!! 

Nice, right???  Ugh!!!

I was a complete mess, literally and fortunately I had a chance to chat with another forum member here in private and they helped me get my head screwed on straight...well, sort of, I am still working on that.  I was heartbroken and felt defeated. 

Funny thing was though, I got up after getting off the phone with him, all upset I went to let my dogs outside and what was the 1st thing I saw as I walked outside the door......A BUTTERFLY!! 

It was as if the Universe was saying......"don't worry about him, he is truly on his way!"

I am better today but I won't be mentioning my guy to this friend ever again. 

I am sticking with my inner voice, and the support of my friends on this forum and I did find out that I have more work to do on myself since I did let this actually effect me.

So we need to continue to work on ourselves and know that the Universe is working on our men and when the time is right we will all come together perfectly.

Have had a similar day in part, and sitting here, reading this thread, the following just hit me - 'when we dilute, we pollute.' To me, that means that when we take signs, or positive experiences, like my guy's e-mail last night, and hand them out to people to pick over, then what was potent and lovely becomes this polluted, horrible mess.

I'm just back from an hour's long thrash on the badminton court and me and a mate walked out, him saying,

'Aww, he's just teasing you. Move on, find someone else.' So, glumly, I drove home.

Just keep what's precious close and quiet, perhaps.

That's a great message Tins, but what did I hand out other than just bringing up my guy to someone who is no longer supportive of my relationship with him?

I suppose you handed out your power, because when you talk to people, you run the risk of their pesky opinions. We're all doing something pretty big here, and it's something that a lot of people don't advocate; they advocate moving on. Despite the irony that none of us wish to attract the same relationship back, simply the same partner, we're told to 'move on.' Which undermines our belief in the legitimacy of what we're doing. The fact is, I feel great when I'm on here, receiving the positivity and support and belief of other people and crap when I trail out of a sports hall next to someone wagging their 'realistic' finger and saying, 'oh, forget him.' So we have to gravitate towards and immerse ourselves in what feels best.

I suppose if we were truly detached and truly believing, other people's opinions wouldn't matter a jot, but we're socialised, as little kids, to factor in other's opinions above and beyond our own which makes it difficult not to be affected by them. So ignore them; concentrate on your own because sometimes trying to eliminate a negative - like this friend's opinion - involves so much energy aimed AT his opinion. So just leave it. Forget it. Focus on what you want to believe.

This Dr. knows everything about me and about my relationship with Patrick. When things turned sour last December, he was the only person I could confide in, and he was always very positive and kind. That's why I told him that things are improving, I could not keep this to myself because he has followed my journey from day 1.

It's the sudden change in his attitude that shocked me.
Maybe he's the new Dr Jekyll & Mr Hide   

I think (as Tinseltown hinted at)  he is convinced that the relationship completely dead, and he was trying (in a very brutal and awkward way) to protect me from having too much hope and falling back into an even deeper depression.

How true Shawn. But his opinion has no effect on me. I am the one who is witnessing the improvements, not him.

In conclusion, pay no attention whatsoever to naysayers, dear friends. They often have good intentions, but they know nothing about the Universal Laws of Attraction

Yeah, as you and others have said, if he has always been kind and supportive before, he probably thought he was protecting you.

Also, you don't know what might be going on in his life, that could be affecting his emotions and how he deals with people. He may have experienced a recent bereavement, or perhaps has a daughter who has been recently hurt in love, or anything.

Also, if it's true that we attract all these kinds of situations, maybe you attracted this so that you could show yourself how strong you've become - the change in you is amazing and inspiring! You are amazing and inspiring!

I can confess that I did attract this to me, since 5 hours earlier I did the same thing to a friend of mine as I was trying to talk some sense into him regarding the gal he was planning to marry.

I did apologize the next day.....I felt so bad.

Who am I to say if his relationship will ultimately work or not??? 

Yes, I do have a really accurate intuition about people and their situations but he is the one who decides, he can change his situation and I have no business undermining what he wants.
