A question

There's a saying that goes :

Run from me and I'll chase after you
 chase after me and I'll run from you.

What are your thoughts on this ? Has it anything to do with the principles of the LOA ?

yes.cause when you give your whole energy to another one,you will be the one who chase,cause he/she doesn't feel the absence of your energy,so they don't need to seek you/your energy.but when you switch your attention away from them,they feel the absence of the energy and then they will follow you.

Also, if you set yourself up as the chaser, there has to be something to chase. You can't chase a stationary target, so the 'running' vibration is oddly the perfect match for the 'chasing' vibration. (ie, if the universe is going to provide for your subconscious chasing request, it has to give you a runner, or else you won't be able to do any chasing)

I would say everyone has it right.  Ginnys post is about shifting of energy, and falls right in line with what ava says in my opinion.  its like playing tag, youre it and you are constantly running after someone to tag them to be it.  ever seen a kid be it for a long time?  they get tired and stop running around.   as soon as they stop, everyone else stops and comes to them to see whats going on, why they stopped chasing everyone?
Same kinda thing applies here.  You chase someone they constantly run from you because they energy youre putting out is that you need or want something from them.  You also feel the same when someone is chasing you.  you may not know what they want but you know they want something.  if theyre someone that you have given to and you are burnt on giving, you run.  all the sudden you stop hearing footsteps, or feeling them chasing you, you look back and theyre way behind you.  you start to wonder, what did they want, why were they chasing me. 
dunno just my take.  i could go on more but ill hold off.

It all comes down to what you are thinking and what you are attracting there.

It is what you do not want, happens. This exact principle is in action.

Now whether it works with every single scenario in life, I have no clue. It may work for a few, it may not work for others.

It may also be a reverse psychology thing.

Again, I have no clue how it is used in every day life, alls i know is that it is this exact principle.
