I have a question....

Ok I have read a couple threads here and one of the main things I see reoccurring is focusing on yourself and not putting your past love on a pedestal. It also speaks about letting go. So my question is, coming to forums like this daily, actively trying to attract someone into your life, isn't that taking the focus off yourself?

But- For me, Im thinking about this past love for my benefit. He gave me such a great feeling and I felt the highest I have ever felt. So I just want that feeling back. And He was what done it for me, So therefore, I focus on that feeling and being with him... If that make sence???

hmmm I have only recently started to feel good when I think of him. But I don't feel like I am completely focused on myself. There is really not a moment he is not in my thoughts and though it is good. I think I'm filling myself with the love of thinking of him rather than love for myself, which they say you need to bring anyone back.

What the threads are saying is that you should not be thinking about you ur ex in a desperate way..that is giving him your power/energy he can feels it...desperation is negative it pushes him away....now he is in control of your energy you places him on a pedestal...so you think about him daily how do you think about him is it in a loving way, happy way when you think of all the good things about him, is it a way of you accepting the fact that with or without him you will still be happy because your happiness does not depend on him? or is it a obsessive desperate cant live without you kind of way?..the latter is the way you don't want to think about him...he is your desire how can you not think about him it is really how you do it.

coming to the forum daily is to gain knowledge an how to apply the law if you are not familiar with the law....to manifest your desire...so it is not taking the focus off yourself....you are not able to change a person..you change you and that person n others changes there action towards you....you send love, exercise forgiveness, you show gratitude you attracts all that is good to you you get yourself in the vibration of feeling good being positive...letting go i think with all the information that is on this forum we still don't get the real meaning of letting go...well for me it is not letting go off my desire it is letting of the attachment to my desire to the outcome, not questioning the whens and hows all of that is left up to the universe/god/source energy....having faith knowing that my heart desire will be manifested soon enough.

Thank you, DH4-EVERHAPPYINLOVE I think I have a better understanding now. I don't think of him in a desperate way, he's just always on my mind and then for some reason I keep seeing his name everywhere I go. I accept he is not with me, I even thought to myself today that he deserves to be happy even if its not with me and I deserve the same. 95% of the time thinking of him makes me happy, but then again I am happy with my life in general with or without him.
