An odd situation of sorts

Hey everyone!

Guess the best way to explain this situation is that my ex and I broke up a couple months ago due to me finding dirty text exchanges from his ex. I know he regrets what he did, but obviously I can't place myself in that type of relationship. That being said, I cut off contact with him because I was hurt as well as needing time for myself. However, I obviously didn't stop caring and always sent positive energy to him.

I get a message asking me why I cut off all contact, during this time I gathered myself together, reevaluating myself and the relationship. I sent an email back that basically said that I didn't appreciate being treated the way that I did and I wasn't sure what his place in my life would be. Where it gets complicated is that he had promised to pay me back money, which he now refuses to pay back.

I didn't know whether to place this under relationship or wealth since it seems appropriate for both. However, I was wondering if there was anyway to rectify the situation with LoA? Any suggestions are definitely welcome.

I am not sure if it is the situation with your ex you wants to rectify or if it is the situation with getting back your money....

if it is to get back with ur ex..there is more than enough information here to help you in that area and advice from fellow members here as soon as you states clearly what your intention/desire is... as for the cash i think you should be able to apply loa to soften the situation between you both giving you the opportunity to recover your cash.

After rereading my post, you're right, I wasn't very clear.

I don't want him back in a relationship sense due to my mistrust in him. As a friend, I'm not sure if he's good for me as one either. However, I still care for him very much and think happily on our good times, hence my gratitude to him. I think time will tell after how I heal.

Unfortunately, I would like the money back, what kind of suggestions do you have to soften the situation?

But you should make your request to god/universe/source energy....affirm your intention, give thanks show gratitude be ready to take action when you are inspired to....have absolutely no doubt about your request you shall receive.

If you were more positive and understood the full potential of LOA (and not just half of it), you would have to learn to forgive him, trust him again and trust that he will behave properly again in a relationship with you.
 
Mistrust will attract that again and again. It will make no difference with whom, so you might as well start with the person of love.

yeah uploadings right you need to also forgive yourself for holding on to the mistrust i know im going through a battle in court over my kidnapping and i hold alot of anger and resentment which i need to let go of to in order for me to love myself again good luck i find eckhart tolle a good start for me and as for your money idk i have a friend that owes me but hes always ducking me!

Money is not love, so you can attract and receive it from anywhere... e.g. through  a better job.

The mistrust issue is probably bigger than what I had thought it would be and something I'll definitely focus on. I actually didn't really give it much thought until it was brought up.

As far as the money goes, I guess I'll just have to let that go then, it probably isn't worth all the arguing we would have anyways.

Yeah, I mean money really is worthless when compared to love
But money is also easy to get from many other channels.
So don't confuse the two things

ToMeAndOnlyMe - there is no need to take or want this guy back just because you had a previous relationship with him. Forgive because it is good for your own soul, but forgiveness doesn't mean everything has to go back to the way it was. Personally I wouldn't be racing after a guy who sent dirty texts to another woman and then withheld payment on a loan, but only you know what is right for you. I do know that you can forgive someone without taking them back as a lover or boyfriend.

If you don't need the money, it is probably best to let that go too. Even if you do, as DHaynes has said, it can come from other sources. But again, letting go is good for your own peace of mind. And it's interesting how often the things you wantcome to you when you let go.
