I need prayers for my baby who was born at 28 weeks and his now at NUCI

Please I need prayers for my baby boy Joseph who was born, September 20th 2011. 

He was born via c-session due to my water braking 2 days prior. Soon after Hebrew taken to the neonatal intensive care, he's been there for 9 days, and his 1st night he was put in a conventional ventilator, after a test called blood gas, he was put in a high frequency oscillator, which is more powerful than the conventional ventilator. He has a feeding tube, and I am pumping breast milk for him, and he start, at 2ml every 12 hours, and now he is getting 3 ml every 12 hours. He get this blood gas test like 4 times a day, and do modifications to his ossilator depending of the results of the blood gas. Also he gets chest x-rays every day if not 2 times a day. He weight 2.8 pounds and then because he was only being iv feed he lost weigh, but since he is being feed breast milk he is almost to his birth weight 2.7 pounds. Yesterday one of the doctors talked to us and told us Joseph had damage on his lungs, and intestines, and tat his right lung had more damage and that yesterdays x-ray looked worth that ones before, that he may have to give Joseph steroids to mature his lungs, but possible side effects are bleed from his intestines, and cerebral palsy, and if his intestine bled he had to be shipped to ucla or Childrens hospital in fresno we are 2 hours away from la, fresco. The doctor was very harsh in my eyes and he said all this could be life threading. Of couse when I got home I drawn in my own tears in my bed saying ok my baby is going to die, and just cried till I fel asleep, and when Joseph dad got home I scream at him horrible things,   Knowing he was also hurt by what the dr told us, but I cried, and told me we need to work together on this, that Joseph is a tough little guy, and that it'll be ok. I was still in the darkness when I delete our baby registry for the baby shower that was planned for october 15, I deleted every single item, and cry while I was doing it. I said to my self for what if he's dying...I was very sad and negative, and I told myself that I was not going to pump milk anymore, for what if my baby was not going to make it. I woke today covered in sweat, and surprisingly refresh and said to myself, no bad energy you are not going win, Joseph is going to do beautiful, and he will come home as the healthy baby he is.

I need prayers for Joseph, i need advice and exercises on how to heal him, and help him improve and reverse any damages any of this machines did to him, I need advice in how to fight the dark thoughts and how to attract positive news to us, and also help his group of doctors to enlighten this doctors help help them cure my baby, so he can come home by his due date 12/11/11
I know I'm all over the place with this post but now you guys have an idea of my case, thank you so much in advance.

First of all congratulations with your beautiful baby boy! I am sure he will be fantastic and turn out to be a complete bundle of joy that babies are!

Secondly, I will give you a line that was given to me recently under dire circumstances as well, at it goes like this: Repeat to yourself over and over  "I already know that Joseph is healthy and happy and is coming home joyously and knowing that Joseph is healthy and happy and is coming home joyously now manifests in my physical world"...Deep breaths, only positive thoughts.

Thirdly, I myself am new to LOA so will attempt in giving you advise on how to heal him, but I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers!

I am sure he will be fine and grow much faster and better than the doctors expect him to, just have faith and keep believing!

Hi mommie,
Again, congrats on your baby boy.  He will be fine and pull through.  When you say he is strong and he will be fine you are giving him strength.  Good job on that.  For every negative thought you have replace it with two positive ones.  Think of him as a young boy and as a young man.  Feel the joy on that and focus on it.  You are going through a tough time so dont beat yourself up over negative thoughts.  They are hard not to have.  I knwo when my daughter was in the hospital it was hard to fight.  Have faith.  When you have negative thoughts, accept them for what they are.  A thought.  Try to not put emotion into thoughts that are negative.  Meaning, dont be afraid of them, dont fight them, just let them be.  Begin thinking of something positive and soon enough your mind will switch to a positive thought.  Our brains analyze situations so its perfectly natural to have bad thoughts. 
There will be more great advice to come.  You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey congrates on your beautifull baby boy. keep strong and keep the faith also make sure your eating you need to keep your strength up also.   maybe go into church and light a candle and say a prayer i find that always puts people also me in a positive frame of mind. your beautiful baby boy is strong he will get threw this

I'm new, but seeing your post I knew I had to respond.

My son was born at 28 weeks also, he was under 2 lbs at birth.

That was 12 years ago.

Today he is a normal, healthy, active pre-teen.

The Dr's told us the worse, I came home many nights in tears, he was in the NICU unit for 3 months, but I kept believing that things would be okay, and they were.

Keep believing what you know in your heart.
