Law of Attraction and mental health(intrusive thoughts)
« on: September 08, 2020, 04:29:37 PM »
Hello.
I have a question regarding the law of attraction and intrusive thoughts. Intrusive thoughts are thoughts that seem to become stuck in the mind. They can cause distress, as the nature of the thought may be upsetting. They may also reoccur frequently, which can make the concern worse.
When I was about 19 or 20 years old (I am 25 now) I read a book about Kurt Cobain where his mother was saying that Kurt was saying that he will be a member of 27 club. And we all know that it happened. That's what scared me and I had an intrusive thought when I read it. This was the thought: it'll happen to me too. Now I know that it was just a thought and it had nothing to do with my future or it wasn't a warning or anything. Because now I understand the nature of this thought. It happens to everyone and it's fine. I get it. But the problem is that during the years I remembered this thought occasionally and found similar stories like Heath Ledger's story: he thought that he was gonna die young and it happened too. (What scared me was that they said that it was going to happen and it did) I got scared again and tried to not think about it. Now I know about loa and this thought became even scarier. Because of its repetitive nature, I am scared that it will actually happen: like it will actually manifest because I've been thinking about it occasionally.
So, have any on you had a similar experience? Please just let me know and help me out because this thought is killing and torturing me right now. I am desperate for answers. So please if any of you had a similar experience don't hesitate to share it with me or give some advice even if you haven't had similar thought loops.

I can definitely understand your fear. Very few would be having this fear after hearing about LOA. The truth is, those thoughts are being created right now, It is not an indication for your upcoming future rather that story of your fear is being created right now. If you know nothing is going to happen, then your fear will go away. Do you know the truth? We are not actually creating our reality, we are already part of the flow, nobody has the volition, volition is an illusion too. The choice you take is not taken by you, it's being experienced by you!

You are creating the reality while you are perceiving it(Volition goes away there). There is no outer world exist in itself, those are mere appearances, we manifest a single line of experience from the infinite possibility by our belief. If you strongly believe this is going to happen, then that's going to happen for sure. But If you know, everything is being created right now in this moment, then your belief changes.
