Hello all

So, in response to my thread http://www.powerlawofattraction.com/forum/index.php?topic=26981.0  , I am here posting my success story 2 and I am committed to updating it everyday with the changes and the progress that I have made and the techniques that I am going to use.

Start, create and maintain new and healthy relationships with Mummy, Papa and my little brother.

A lot of my baggage comes from my childhood which reflects in almost all of my life areas. I love my family and they love me too and there is nothing we would not do to make each other happy. But, there are issues that have been pushed under the rug and that resurface in each of our lives. Here is what I am going to do to bring about the changes:

1. Affirmations
2. Text and speak to each of them every day (even if it means just one message or a two minute phone call)
3. Be more accepting and kind.
4. Love
5. Forgive
6. Ho'oponopono and lighting of a candle everyday.
7. Maintain a gratitude, forgiveness and appreciation journal.

My home is where my heart is and I have taken them for granted for the longest time. I promise to be around and love them selflessly and unconditionally.


I have the pictures up on my vision board too.

Have progressed here as well.

I had a very unhealthy relationship with my parents always, despite all of us knowing that we truly and with all of our hearts love and care for each other. I realised that it was all of my dissatisfaction and resentment towards things that did not even matter that made this relationship what it is.

Keeping it real,I am just working on being more present - the feelings of love and being kind and acceptance and forgiving myself and them for whatever I had been carrying the resentment - all of this is just following.

I do read my affirmations everyday, I also make it a point to speak to them everyday but more than anything else i JUST FEEL BLESSED TO HAVE THEM AROUND - not by force - the feeling just stays with me now and it allows me to be more present.

The relationships are definitely getting better - we laugh a lot more, hardly have any arguments now and truly do feel better and at home in each other's presence. It feels at home in a completely different sense of the term now.. :)

I am also following The Magic by Rhonda Byrne.

Following all 3 of her books - yet to read the fourth, once I am through with the third one.


Since I didnt mention - GRATITUDE is helping too - one thing for sure is that it immediately shifts your emotional state as a result of which everything around immediately changes too.

  • Erana: I think the person was just finding random reasons to be angry and rant, since nothing they said made any sense. First they make a post seemingly offended at what others think of Jesus, but upon trying to have a conversation about it they claimed they didn’t care about Jesus. That’s when I gave up. Anyway, I am going to pretend this ‘episode’ never happened, lest we attract them back  ;)

  • siamesegirl: There's no wonder threads get deleted if people go around ranting and calling others retards. I wonder if they go around doing this in real life? For what it's worth I'm not a fan of Abraham Hicks as channelling is difficult for me to believe in. I do agree some of their stuff has value for example the emotional guidance scale. But blamed some law of attraction teacher for what someone chose to do themselves is passing the buck. Over the last few months I've seen several posters disappear because they can't follow basic forum guidelines.

Perhaps if you'd made a post in the relevant section of the forum as a proper discussion you may have received some comments and feedback. I don't think you expressed your opinion clearly at all

Being compassionate toward those who are undeserving shows kindness on our part, and therefore not only brings our energy higher, and attracts better things toward us, but also makes a difference in their lives, and brings them happiness and things to be grateful for. No offense, but what you said is really childish and unkind, and also causes greater blocks in our own energy; selfishness.
