Visualization of my ex is too painful.

Hello,
I am new to LOA and have been trying to increase my vibrations by using daily gratitude, mediation and visualisation. I very much believe my ex and I will be together.

We broke up a month ago, it is still very painful as I miss and love him dearly. In the moment, I am very happy in the visualisation and I can feel positive, loving vibrations coming from within. There are however still have moments in the day where I have that 'heavy heart' feeling, and recently have found my self crying quite a lot as a release - I'm not too sure why this is, I figure its just the general loss of someone. I usually visualise very vividly in the evening, picture his hair, the thickness, his skin, his voice.. its so real its almost painful. Then wake up sad and heavy hearted in the morning before gratitude.

Any advice?

P.s I am currently on a three month break from uni so I have nothing to focus on right now, is this going to hinder my progress?

Don't visualize or even think of him while depressed, they can pick up that energy.

Make a gratitude list of all you have to be happy about, the goals you want to accomplish, now on break and later. Start to see only gratitude for all you have.

See yourself happy having accomplished them, see and feel 100% perfect health.

When you are upset or sad, that is OK let it out, examine it and let it pass. During those times don't think of him.

Put yourself back on the pedestal, doing things that bring you joy.

LOA is always working so if you are not getting results or manifestations you want, examine your thoughts, change them and change your world.

If and when you start thinking of a relationship again, define how you want it to be, make a list. See what about your last you didn't like, how you contributed and what you could change within your thoughts, life and abilities in regards to love.

Use these months to accomplish your goals, read up on LOA and your power, do things that bring you joy, and manifest happiness regardless of him or not. He will pick up on your 'new' life and thoughts.

If you want him back, after doing the above see the end result of what you want. Feel it, visualize and believe it with no doubts.

Read some books on the masters.
