If you have a partner who is lost themselves/depressed/unhappy and has a lot of problems in their life, how do you help them?

If you have a partner who is lost themselves/depressed/unhappy and has a lot of problems in their life, how do you help them?

You can be there for them and be kind and gentle with them when they talk to you.
 Also there is a technique that I have used on a friend who gets over nervous and depressed sometimes. In this technique you can imagine putting their head on your head, like you would do if you were putting on a hood or a hat or a mask. Once you have done that, you "become" that person and are able to think "as them". So while you are wearing "their head" imagine feeling much better and feeling calm, confident, and healthy and happy. Do this for no more than 20 minutes per session. 10 minutes is fine.

I imagine them being happy. I imagine them talking to me and telling me how amazing they feel.

Imagine a yellow light surrounding them and there is a peaceful aura. I sometimes also do sending love (klaus living on messenger) I find it very really good.
