How to Use Law of Attraction / I have a problem feeling gratitude?

We all know gratitude is an important part of the loa, my issue is i can give thanks etc but i can't get any feeling behind it.

I am half way through The Magic by Rhonda Byrne, at this stage I should be really grateful but I am just doing the daily activities and counting my blessings but I can't get any feeling behind it, it feels like I am wasting my time or just kidding myself.

Any advice?

Could it be that you’re picking up on things where there are subliminal indications of them?

To explain: I imagine time isn’t linear and it’s possible to get glimpses of the future in a number of ways. We’re usually unaware of having received this information. There are different possible outcomes however and we influence them to some extent with our thoughts and intentions.

I dreamt last week really vividly that I was driving the windy road I take to work. It was covered in loose gravel (in the dream I had no idea why but odd things happen in dreams), and going round a bend I skidded and ended on the wrong side where I found myself in front of a van coming the other way. I woke in fear so did not witness the accident that would have happened next.

Then the next day I was driving to work and they had newly gravelled the road, it was really loose and exactly, literally exactly, as I’d seen it in the dream. I’d not to my knowledge ever seen a road gravelled like this before. Remembering the dream I drove very slowly, and I passed a white van at some point.

It’s not the only time strange premonition-type things have happened to me in dreams, or daydream-style thoughts, or ‘deja-vu’ style moments. But never something so much like a ‘warning’. It was wild. I haven’t told anyone for some reason. It just sounds silly.

I get you mate.  Yes I am picking up on something.  That was a weird dream but at least you managed to pick up on the warning as such, I am usually never aware until after the event.

Topics like déjà vu do suggest some form of determinism occurs. It's as if what we physically experience has at least existed in the form of a thought, and is only remembered once experienced.

The subconscious mind knows all outcomes to all possibilities in advance, even if consciously unknown, it has to, surely?
It knows before you do. It remembers everything, it is only humans recall that is fallible. It shows itself in dreams and visions once the conscious guard is lowered.
Yes this all makes sense.

I've been doing this for years, try as I might I can not flip this around.  I am pretty damn good at it, so much so that the wife falls out with me when I come out with a statement because she knows without a doubt it will happen. 

An example.  Last year we were driving along on the way to my daughter's school play,  I had a glimpse of a car crash, you see thats how it comes, I will get a glimpse in my mind of something or something will just flash into my mind for no particular reason, At the time you won't be aware of this though but after the event and you track back there it is.  Anyway driving along had this random thought of a car crash, went around the corner, met another driver on the opposite side the road head-on into us.  Thankfully all OK but never had a thought about a car crash before the event or after it.

Another example happened just yesterday.  My wife works in the evenings, She said to me yesterday "Ah I can't wait to Monday night to get a night off" She doesn't usually work every night but she's been doing overtime etc, Monday "Would" have been her first night off in 7 days.  Her sister in law is pregnant and due start of October,  I get a thought and come out with "Ah XXXX will probably go into labor early and you'll have to go to the hospital or something"  She said to me "Don't you say that"  Last night she gets a phone call saying the sister in law has went into labor.

I can take that story a step further,  She told me all about this last night when she came home, I said to her "There goes your night off" She said why I said "Monday night you'll have to take your Mother to see the new baby"  Low a behold first thing this morning her mother is on the phone looking her to take her to see the new baby.

Thats just a few examples but you get the idea.  I don't know where these thoughts or pictures come from, If I set out to think something nothing will happen which is why I have never manifested anything I wanted, I have also noticed when I am aware that I have these thoughts nothing comes from them, its only when I don't notice they manifest and its usually the worst possible outcome always negative, never have these manifestations or thoughts been positive.

Does anyone relate to this? Or why does this happen?

Believe its possible.  Say I wanted to manifest £500 unexpected. Two things will happen, Firstly I won't believe its possible deep down, and secondly, I don't think I deserve it. But it all does sound like a nice idea.

This has always been my downfall in life. I really think it comes from lack of self-confidence and self-esteem. Sure there are things I'd love in life but deep down I don't think I deserve them hence why to do date I'm in a dead-end job, not married, no home, no car the list could go on and on, 38 and going nowhere. Really on the road to nowhere. I never attract anything because of this. I can't get myself to really believe.

I've been trying to get past the what is since 2006, as a result haven't had any luck. I've went over everything from The Secret to Abraham to Dr Dyer but what trips me up is the what is. From my job to finances nothing has ever went well in life and I can't get past it. And if anything they just constantly get worse.

I read a new book, go about applying it and I'm hyped but before long life shows up and I've forgot all about my new intentions. It's just so difficult.

Need some guidance here folks.

I know where I need to get to, I need to get to that point where I feel it is an absolute certainty that I will attract what I desire but I've never been able to, In fact I don't think I have ever felt that way about anything.

Its more "Well it would be nice if it did happen but it probably won't so no big loss" and its been that way about everything in my life which is probably why I am sitting at 35 with damn all going for me in life, To easy going my parents always said.

You know what I mean? I've never felt that absolute certainty that's needed.
Any advice? Or can you relate? I know this $hit works as I have seen people with the attitude achieve what they desire, they have this unwavering knowing that it will come.

How to Use Law of Attraction / Remembering to apply the LOA?

I've been studying the LOA for years, I would say 10 years now but even after 10 years its not an automatical subconscious thing.

I have to consciously think about the LOA and I usually only do when I am trying to figure out why something went wrong which at that stage its to late. If I could wake in the morning and remember to remember about the LOA my life would be a lot better.

How do you do this? How do you make the LOA first and foremost in your life?
