Do Millionaires Think Differently
« on: January 23, 2015, 11:10:27 PM »
Good morning all! I've been studying the LOA and wealth creation for the past 7 years and have found that this is truly a mind game. Meaning, if we condition our minds to think in a certain way, our reality will unfold accordingly. And for the most part, none of us have been taught how to consciously create what we want... What are your thoughts about creating wealth at high levels? Is it possible to train our brains to produce abundance?? Do millionaires and billionaires know the secrets of this mind game we call reality?

I wouldn't know if millionaires and billionaires consciously know the "secrets" but Napoleon Hill inquired into this question a long time ago. His research led to The Laws of Success and Think and Grow Rich which is free online. These books, according to Hill, explains how some people attract wealth and others don't. I've also liked Outwitting The Devil (which is really a rehash of Think and Grow Rich in a different style). Although I am not successful in similar terms of millionaires and billionaires, I do FEEL like a billionaire and I've noticed that many good things in my life have just "flown" to me thanks to Hill's advice. But even Hill stresses that most of wealth creation comes subconsciously by repetition of thoughts.

Nope!
They are just the same as all others are.

The only things that separates Wealthy from others is their incredible ability to mercilessly cut out all the bullshit from their mind and reality and maintaining extreme "buy in" towards a definite chief aim.

When I look around I see people bitch slapping each other over whether action is important or not if you are going to use LoA.

A successful person maintains a strong buy in towards their definite chief aim. :)

PS:
Think and Grow Rich is pure bullshit.

If you want to read real version of "Think and Grow Rich", it would be "Law of Success in 16 Lessons". That book is tight!

@Colonel:

I don't see how you think there is similar ground behind Think and Grow Rich and Outwitting the Devil.
Outwitting the devil is the greatest book when it comes to learning and actively avoiding all the bullshit. :)

lol thanks MrMaverick! I pretty much agree with what you said... In other words, know what you want, make it option "A" and have no other options to distract you from your goal. Lazer focus and love what you're doing.

What are the differences between Laws of Success/Outwitting the Devil and Think and Grow Rich?

I've listened to about 2.5 hours of the Outwitting the Devil audiobook, and I must say I identify very much with the definition of a drifter.

I've become comfortable in life with no ambition, with only weak, fleeting desires that quickly become boring.

What are the differences between Laws of Success/Outwitting the Devil and Think and Grow Rich?

Those are two completely different books.

Think and Grow rich is a completely watered down version of The Law of Success in 16 Lessons - Which explains mindset and attitude required to acquire riches.

Outwitting the Devil - Is a practical book and deals with how to overcome fears and limiting beliefs. The "Devil" in the book is brutally honest and fearless. Partly because he is confident in himself and partly because he knows others are pussies. lol

Yeah, as I said in my last post I have many traits of the drifter.  The things that used to excite me no longer do.  I think its due to my inability for get out of the healthy related negative thought rut I've been it.
