When taking 'Insprired Action' isn't always the right action to take?

I just wanted to share this....


Lately i have been feeling that whenever i have a gut feeling (or just in a really positive place) to take Action towards a desire i find that i am always sorry i did it and wished i had not afterwards.

For example, sending a text, or email wether it be for a relationship or a job related situation going with my gut seems to feell right at the time..but then i take action, and feeling great about it, even a bit nervous and excited and then NOTHING!!!! 
No response!!!!! No advancement!!!! No movng forward!!!! Not even a confirmation that your message was received? Things just remain the same..still..it almost makes me feel non existent.

I know we don't know the impact our actions truly take, what the full picture of the outcome is to the person or people or situation we are trying to move towards..reach out to and/or change BUT to hear nothing, or see nothing happening makes you wonder if its even worth it???

It feels as if i have hit a wall A CEMENT WALL and now i wonder if  ''Inspired'' Action really is more about luck or timing???

I sometimes feel no action, or possibly waiting for a sign and/or invitation to take action is a much better idea.  Like receiving a text/call FIRST or being told by someone that so and so asked about you, etc.  In some cases you may be waiting a very long time if anything happens at all?


In my experience, no action..or very little preparation towards a goal is what works best. Give it to God! Then it becomes this wonderful development, real progress or in some cases a miracle that it was all really meant to be.

Hmmm. It's a difficult one. I tend to agree with you about just giving it up and waiting for things to happen in some regards... in particular around relationships... and you're right, it can take a while but when things move you really know it.

Though I have to say I've had gut feelings and inspired actions about other things ie- impulsively deciding to start and art class- and everything just flowed so effortlessly. But I have to admit in that case, it wouldn't had bothered me if things hadn't worked out at that time.. There was no fear of failure or fear of not getting what I wanted. I knew I could always try again later... the difference with relationships is the fear of failure I have attracted to them so i tend not to be the indicator otherwise my fears start to block me...

Still don't have anything as an exact science though.. I just try to go with the flow. Hope this helps

If you have to ask if you should or shouldn’t, then it’s not inspired action. Trust me when you really get that feeling, there wouldn't be any doubt about what you are doing … and you will feel like it’s a natural step.  Actually anything otherwise would seem completely unnatural.

Sometimes it takes awhile to see what your actions have created, sometimes it's instantaneous. I do find that the times I've done things that were "inspired", there really wasn't so much of an attachment to what would happen. I just did what I wanted and then got on with my life. There was one situation I walked away from because I had a bad feeling about it and then 2 months later, that decision put me in an amazing position to get what I needed. So who knows when you'll see the results of what you put out there?

Also, if you feel like it's a waste of time contacting him, then don't contact him. That's another thing I've noticed with inspired action. If it feels like you're pushing uphill, then you're probably forcing things and it's not really inspired action.  I mean, there's a time and a place for stepping outside of your comfort zone and discomfort is expected, but those things feel right...you know?
