I have recently tried to learn card reading and their meaning and today as I was going to the shops I noticed a card on the parking lot and I thought to myself this could be a sign as it was totally random and misplaced. Turns out the card was a negative one meaning disappointment etc..
I thought should I not take it as a sign just because it is negative or could it just be an indication that I'm not progressing in the right way and thus merely be a reflection of my mindset. I must say I'm going through tough times right now and I'm not totally positive although I am trying hard..
Have any of you had negative signs and what do you think they mean?

I think signs are what you take them to be. Without making anyone feel doubtful or anything, there's a lot about signs and mostly about how people interpret them to be an indicator of good things coming their way, which they may well be. However, they are simply signs, they have no intrinsic value until you assign them some meaning.

I think your sign, is like most others a reflection of how you're feeling. If you're feeling positive or asking for a sign to indicate something, you'll see it. If you're feeling a bit down and less than happy then your sign reflects that. Maybe your sign was simply to flag up how you're feeling so you can work on improving that feeling or mood. It doesn't mean everything you want is less likely to manifest just because you saw it.

we just had a thread with card reading and such. i cant find it anymore though.... maybe someone else?

all i want to say is, that i really hear and feel that you are completely into this card stuff already.
from such a detached mindstate and some bit of obsessed, i would really really suggest you just to stop with it right now.
i know what i am talking about.... dont want to say it over and over. but if you want to get some happy things in your life to happen, let the cards out.
they will pull you down.
when you are just wanting to have a look about your feelings right now, then you can lay them, but not too often please. and dont ask about the future, it just get your vibes from that special moment- it can make you addicted and pull you very much down, which happened to me

Thank you Lise! The strange thing is that for the past few days I have had vivid and positive dreams that made me feel great related to the things I am trying to attract but as soon as I wake up I get signs/or such things that are quite negative so it is very confusing. It is like the Universe is sending mixed signals haha..

Crazysoul is right. I was really into tarot cards, yes i still do it here and there, but thats not what you need to do. Some days they say good things, others its the end of the world. Once you start going down that road its only making your life harder than it really should be. So here is my advice, if you enjoy the cards, do a reading and if its good stop there. Really just stop , have those nice cards there to look at any time you get the urge to see them.. but dont do any more readings.

You are the master and commander of your life, you dont need cards to tell you where you are going, because its always your choice.

i agree with stef..... i would even suggest you not to read a single one to be honest. what when the tower or swords of ten appear? you got scared already by just seeing that "sign".... i think its not good for you.

it wasnt for me, i was addicted 20 years

and just couldnt stop and my life got worse and worse..... its a disease, there should be a group called.... tarot anonymus.

take care of yourself, loa and future readings are not working together, thats for sure!
being patient, waiting for the universes delivery.... thats all against card readings.... going with the flow? not possible as well.

Thank you Crazysoul,

I wouldn't say I'm totally obsessed with it but I thought It could be a good way to have a glimpse of where I'm going. We stay the master of our destiny indeed. I have had readings in the past, some happened and others didn't. Some related to things I was trying to manifest at some point a while ago and the negative readings proved to be wrong and most likely my will power through Loa turned things around if indeed that reading was accurate to begin with. So I'm not really attached in that way because I know by experience how misleading it can be.
However, I am attentive to everything that may be signs of my progress especially when it occurs in the most random ways and so that's why this really caught my attention but like Lise says it is probably related to my mindset and nothing else. What is really confusing is that I'm having dreams that are positive but during the day i keep seeing negative signs, it is as if my subconscious mind and conscious mind are in conflict if that makes sense....

Well it is not a reading which I wouldn't take seriously at all but it is more finding that card randomly on a parking lot as I was going to the shops, it was so totally random you see that it caught my attention..I thought what are the odds of this!

It sounds to me like your subconscious mind is telling you everything will be alright, and you wake up and are so worried about it that you find negative things to make you doubt it.

I do have that feeling too. It is like everything in my dreams are solved and happening according to what I visualize and when I wake up things keep happening that remind me that my reality isn't yet what I'm aiming for and so I start to doubt. Even if I try to move on or stop thinking about it I keep having those dreams and so moving on or not thinking about it is just impossible haha.. it is like the universe is keeping me from giving up in any way during my sleep..

So why not continue the good feeling, keep that same positive feeling you had in your dream during the day. If you can do that you are pretty much there

Since I've begun working with my guides, I've been taught an important lessons. The more you doubt the more reasons you are given to doubt. Conversely, the more your trust and believe, you will see more and more signs and proof that your desire is manifesting.

I struggle with it as well and now that I've been channeling my guides, it's on a different scale. I have been doubting that I actually do have the ability to channel and that I'm communicating with my guides, etc. It's difficult sometimes to wrap my brain around it. So this past weekend, they decided to teach me a lesson. They told me that things were over between my guy and this girl he's seeing and I believed them. I felt great and then I looked for proof and found out that it wasn't true. I was upset at first thinking they if they had lied to me about that then maybe they were lying to me about everything (they tell me we will be together, etc.). After calming and centering myself, I saw that they were teaching me not to doubt things so much or they will give me reasons to doubt.

So, I gave myself a challenge to just believe in it completely - why not? What do I have to lose? In the past couple of days, I've been overwhelmed with signs and predictions coming true.

Absolutely. It all goes hand in hand, I'm learning.

Time and time again we are told not to worry about the how when you are trying to manifest your desire. Let me tell you a little story.

Keep in mind that my desire has not fully manifested in reality yet - everything I'm being told has been by my spirit guides, but I am learning to trust in them completely. And from what they are telling me, it will only be a few more months before I can post my success story.

Back in January, I texted my guy to meet me at a local bar to catch up. At that point, it had been about 4 months since we had last seen each other. I hade been getting tons of signs and was feeling great prior to making that suggestion and I truly did feel that it was inspired action. He didn't meet me and I was very upset about it.

It was shortly after that that I began exploring the different methods of tapping into my intuition (higher self) and working with my spirit guides. I wouldn't trade that for anything and perhaps if he had met me I wouldn't have gone down this path. Also, I'm told daily how much he is thinking about me (often more than I think about him) and that he is very much looking forward to being around me again this summer. I asked the other day when he began thinking about me this much and it was in January.

So, while the outcome wasn't what I wanted at the time, it appears that it was indeed inspired action that made him start to think about me more and also start to feel more ready for a serious relationship. Just remember that things sometimes need to happen behind the scenes in order to grant our desires. We just need to trust and follow our gut.
