Vivid dream after a deep meditation
« on: February 21, 2012, 10:18:33 AM »
Has anyone ever had a vivid dream after they had performed a deep meditation or had successfully gone into a Theta state?  It seems each time I've done a meditation where I've gone into theta state or deep meditation, I've had vivid dreams.

I do not meditate that often, but I remember one time where I had a very vivid vision of myself and my ex-girlfriend walking along a trail on a mountain. It was unusual at the time. Several months later, it came true...I only realised it after the event

It kinda freaked me out, but it was so cool at the same time

It was your well thought out imagination or just a random thought? I think you somewhere in your waking mind wanted this as reality. Because random thoughts barely come to manifestation.

I dream like crazy after meditations, and often wake up from them too. It's like they come alive, they're so real to me. So yes, those meditations in theta does something to my head.

Yes, I had that before. It was when I was meditating about my ex. I wanted be relaxed enough to try astral traveling. I wanted to see if it worked. I really wanted to go to him and see him. Well.... long story short, I fell asleep. Had some kind of crazy dream and woke up with a jolt. My chest literally felt like it exploded out of my chest.

It hurt for about 3-4 days after that. I still don't know for sure what that was because, I'm very healthy and I'm still young. My mentor read up on it and thinks maybe my heart chakra (I think that's what it's called) opened.

Trulybelieve I had the same thing happen to me.  Felt like my chest was going to explode; it was so strong that i would need a few minutes before getting out of bed to get myself together. This was so strong, and it would always happen after a really deep meditation involving my ex. At first I thought it was just anxiety, or just me feeling heartbreak, but it was so strong and would be days at a time. I had to stop doing these meditation, but after a while I found out it was just my chakra.

WOW!! I have goosebumps. I never actually "met" anyone that experienced that before. It's a shocking experience. Did it come from the center of your chest? Like a controlled explosion that kind of shoots out in one huge burst? BOOM!! Then it's suddenly gone but, the pain is still there (like squeezed, pinched, sharp). The feeling is intense for about 5 mins, dissipates a bit, but lingers for days

I'm re-reading what I wrote but, I can't seem to explain it properly. I hope you know what I'm trying to say. I'm so interested in talking to you about this. I'll never forget that day.

It came from the middle of my chest, pretty much dead center. I would say a sharp pain, that felt like very deep pressure almost. It was the strongest when I woke up, and then it would drop off as the day went on, but the pain was still there. I had this for weeks, not just a few days in a row. I didn’t have this after the breakup, but it started with meditation.  Once I started to learn more about spirituality I discovered this was not only opening, but clearing some of the pain from the past.

Thank you so much. That is exactly where mine came from. Dead center. Very sharp and strong. It's kind of unexplainable but, it sounds like we are talking about the same thing. I can't say exactly how long it lasted. I said 3-4 days but, I'm not 100% on that. It wasn't for weeks for sure. The other weird thing is I couldn't tell if I was sleeping or meditating intensely.

I did have dreams about him. The day that weird thing happened I was meditating about him. Playing music that made me feel love for him (in a loop), had a picture of him in front of me, candles...the works. Then I think I fell asleep. This is the part I'm still not sure about. I "think" I was sleeping. I couldn't tell the difference between being awake or asleep. Does that make sense to anyone here? How can you not know if you're asleep or not?

Lucid dream or astro projection.. maybe one of the two. I had the same thing, well i knew it was a dream afterwords, but during it was as real as it gets
