The one thing i struggle with

I haved been able to keep myself positive during the day and night but one thing i struggle with

is when i wake up in the morn ... i feel really down..almost mad because thing arent happening as fast as id like them to .. or because i feel like they are not going to... i worry this will defeat all my efforts ....any suggestions how i can wake up in a better mood.. i was never like this b4 .. so i am not sure whats going on .. usually once i am really awake i can change my mood /.. but i hate waking up like that ..

I would try setting the intention before you go to sleep that you will wake up in a positive mood.  Before falling asleep, visualize yourself waking up positive and happy.  Give that a try for a few days and see what happens.  I find that sometimes making a simple intention is more than enough.  Don't forget to express gratitude when it happens.

Thanks Irish Girl... i will try that .. i dont know why i wake up that way .. its a hopeless feeling .. i can stay positive ;lately throughout the day .. but mornings.. Bleh!

Silva method have some free apps that are available on i store. There's the silva long relax and a good night mediation and a morning meditation. The morning meditation is basically a guided meditation that talks you through setting your intention for the day and also visualising how you want your day to go and imaging later describing how well it went for someone else. These may also be available to download on to a laptop.

Also I think it the Hicks in ask and it's given - although can't remember exactly where they suggest segmenting or something like that where you break the day down into sections and envisage how you want each part to go eg from waking up to leaving the house, your journey to work.

there are apps for your phone that monitor your sleep and when you set your alarm to wake you up, it starts waking you up gradually when youre in the right phase of sleeping, so you wake up refreshed rather than suddenly! theyre pretty cool.
i recently changed my alarm tone from the standard iPhone tone, to a really upbeat song and i find that helps me start the day off in a much more positive mood

I have that too sometimes...jus remeber every day is different too try to be positive but u cant always be so if u dont wake up that way just accept it too and move forward..thats what i do and usually my day ends up better..we are only human after all:)

sh-boom that sounds interesting ... i dont have my droid on at this moment .(i hate the droid). i use another older phone i wonderi f i cld get it on that one ...anyway u can send me a link to that app? or like u said using an uplifting song to wake up to

of course - the app is called Dream:ON but if you do a search there are quite alot of dream/sleep related apps so you should be able to find something suitable!

the song i have is -

I can really relate to this problem. One thing that helps me, as waking up to music. Find some songs that will put you in a good mood, and set your alarm to them. Its helpful to think about the song before you go to bed, and rehearse the positive thoughts you will think when the song comes on!
