For 2 months and a half now, I have been wanting to have a new laptop. I have been working hard and saving my hard earned money, but every time I am set to buy, there is an emergency coming up which ends up affecting my budget. I really really want that laptop, every time I walk pass through it in a store on my way to my office, it looks ,like its waving to me saying “Come and get me” and its so frustrating. I feel like I need to work more and more and exhaust my energy to really saved enough but its not working at all, maybe this is one reason why I am so stress lately. I have been using the Law of attraction to achieve my desire and I think I am visualizing it the wrong way. I talked to my mentor which happens to be my boss at the office where I worked as a team leader for a security agency and he explains why. He told me that one reason why its not working its because I focus so much on “wanting” the item and not having them.
I am now on the process of trying to understand the difference of wanting and having . So I did my assignment and research and so far this is the lightest and easiest to understand t explanation I got as to what is the difference between the two

As I understand “Wanting” is if my emotion is focused on “Wanting” my center of attention will be on attracting more “Wanting”. In my case, since I wanted to have a laptop, my mind is focused on “wanting” and this attracts more thing to want for. For example since I want a laptop I may not be fixed on one laptop but I would want to have the latest laptop in the market and there are a lot so I keep on wanting them up to the point where I cannot buy them or I have a feeling of not being able to buy a laptop.
However, if my thinking will be on the “having” vibration. I will feel and I will think that I have already bought a laptop. In this state I will enjoy the feeling of having a laptop and I will attract the vibration that I already have the laptop with me. So, in this state my mind will be focused on having the laptop itself and in time my actions will be moving toward having laptop.
Please let me know if I am getting it right. As I really want to start visualizing as soonest time as possible. If you have suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
