I Have A Question

I just made a gratitude list for all the things I want to attract and the best way for me to detach is to forget about it completely so my question is should I hold onto the list or just rip it up and throw it away ? I'm leaning toward the second choice cause I know it'll help me to detach faster

You answered your own question.  You need to do what's right for you.  If it feels right to rip it up, then go with it.  There is no right way or wrong way to detach - it's completely personal.

I believe if you want the attract things in your life you must be grateful for the things you already have.  That you must visualize the things you want, and believe those things are already on the way to you. 

If you rip up your list that would like saying you are not really grateful for those things...at least in my view. 

I do not understand why you think you should be detached from your gratitude list, maybe I missed something. 

Edit:  I see why you might think you should be detached, from reading some other posts.  I don't think you are understanding that to detach means not to worry that you won't receive the things you desire.  Worry and fear are destructive.
