It can be kept private and as long as we have log in info shared we can all log on, just keep it private, if we need to change a password (like if someone starts getting coo-coo crazy) we can change the password and just make sure everyone else knows what it is and we can also post pictures. Just a thought!

As I've said, if you were to join through Facebook, you'd have to add me as a friend in order to access the group, as I can only invite my friends, but you're at complete liberty to defriend me after joining. If you don't have Facebook, would you be prepared to set up an account simply to log in once a week to take part in an experiment?

The reason I don't feel 100% comfortable using this forum is because the nature of the intention experiments I've read about in McTaggart's group is that they were kept private and were possibly more effective for that reason. In addition, if we were intending something regarding another person, an ex for example, photos are helpful accessories so that we, 'the intenders' can picture them more easily. But I would not feel comfortable putting up a picture of my ex on here, for example, as it's quite an open site. Ankur does a fantastic job of having created and maintained it thus far and it's NOT a criticism. Simply for something very specific and involving potentially personal information or images, a completely private place may foster more ease amongst the participants

Mariposa's got some additional suggestions, too, so nothing's being discounted, nor forced upon people.

I would love to join but I deactivated my fb for significant reasons, I'm not going back on there.
What about skype?
You can have a private group set up there and type while doing so also share media, you dont have to see one another and those who have mics can talk while on there.

@lashark: what about creating a new account on fb just for the sake of accessing the intention group?.. its just my thought over this.. the choice is your's.. i personally find Facebook as a secured place for doing so..

The point is I'm not going on fb. I'm not going to repeat myself again.

I don't see why we can't collectively find a way to do it where it accomodates everyone but it's not a big deal. Whatever. I'm not getting on fb, you people seem pretty set on fb so do your thing then, I have no need for an intention group and if I really cared I could easily start my own. It's not a big deal, I wish you all the best.

We'd love to have you, Alexia, but herein lies the problem which is where to host it.

No-one's 'set' on Facebook, it's just the social default. Mariposa's posted some links that I'm looking at.

And no-one 'needs' an intention group, either. It's an idea, a bit of a fun playing around with what has been scientifically proven; that group intent can work wonders. The brief is to start small, see what we can do. I don't need it, in the same way I don't need the 3 Hot Peperamis that I've eaten today but whatever makes us happy, eh?

Maybe we could make you a member by proxy, if you fancied?

I'll start a new account on fb. I don't hate fb, but I don't get how popular it is - which is weird, 'cos I got totally addicted to email when I got my first account (ie decades ago, when it was pretty much used only at universities and in the military)

No idea why I felt the need to share that - maybe I should be more active on fb
