Question about visualization

So far, the technique that worked for me best was to simply kind of,  "make a wish" and to believe that it is here and simply forget about it and work on raising my vibration as much as possible mainly by doing things that make me feel like a winner. Whenever I tried to visualize, it actually raised my level of attachement and when I stopped with my visualization it felt like getting back to the real world where I don't have it! Now, I would love to try and work more with visualization , I really feel it could make a big improvement, so does anybody have any idea or maybe a post they can refer me to.

very interesting question! I like to know the answer as well.

I also think that visualizing is a kind of attachment.

I am meditating now and trying to visualize while meditation, but one thing that I noticed is that after meditation I feel so drained, my energy drained and I feel like I can go to sleep right after.

I also work on my let go part, and that is detachment as well, but it is not easy not to think about the things that you want, especially when you know that the reality is different.

Yes, exactly :-/ It's easier for me to just think of it and believe it will happen but it takes ages and it kind of, manifests iself partially hm.. I think visualization might help a lot to achieve a full result if I could learn how to manage the transition well :)

Well, why do you relate visualization to attachment?

Visualization pertains to raising your energy level to the feeling of having already manifested your desire and detachment refers to the faith that you have on the Universe that your desire will be fulfilled. But that does not mean coming to the reality where you do not have it.

In fact, detachment pertains to have your focus on 'what you want' rather than 'how you get it' and staying alert for the clues that Universe provides you with.

Personally, I take visualization as my way of raising my vibration, much more so after doing so. Before I start visualization, I breath in and out as many times as I can, until I know that my body is already relaxed and with full belief as well that doing so can release all the negative thoughts and limiting beliefs within me. Then I start seeing the things and places I love to see, the kind of relationships I want to have. I then came out more excited after my visualization :) I think the negative and limiting beliefs that you still have in you have something to do your feelings after your visualization. If there is, then release them - quick! You deserve a very happy and fulfilled life ;)

Here is the key. Don't visualize what you want. Visualize the happiness you have once you get what you want. The congratulating colleagues, happy parents, love all around, see..this is how you should visualize. This is common, what is the point if you have to learn the law of attraction too? You already know the law. it's as simple as anything.

Don't try. Meditation is the answer. Like this friend says, meditation clears your vibration. Instead of visualizing during meditation {it also works, btw} try getting away from vibrations. Try doing a vortex wheel. Then, you visualization will not be a lack, but hopeful and that's what we need. We need to get on the attraction side of the law. Vortex Wheel Process is the best. and also meditate daily. Sit still, close your eyes, witness your breaths. 10 minutes everyday.
