Point me in the right direction.

So after reading numerous books and browsing many forums I'm looking for a boiled down easy technique for manifesting. I'm not much of meditation kinda guy. I cant ever seen to shut my brain up. So I am looking for something simple that I can work on everyday. These are the things I'm looking to change in my life.
1. Improving my relationship with my sons mother.
2. Improving my professional life
3. Improving myself.

Hey Xander.

Have you made a vision board yet? Cut and pasted pictures from magazines which will match what it is that you want. For example, for #1 Improving your relationship with your son's mother. ..
Ask yourself - "What kind of relationship do I want with this woman?" .. more respect? love? space? adventure? marriage? then find pictures that match the description of a perfect relationship with this woman, cut them out and put them in the section of your board dedicated to #1 Goal.

Do the same for #2... do you want a new job? a promotion? a vacation? - You decide.
Same for #3.

Take a few minutes a day to sit quietly somewhere in your home, on the deck or outside. You can play your favorite music, but I wouldn't recommend anything "dis-harmonizing" like heavy metal or gangsta hip-hop. If you like country, chose songs with POSITIVE words, or can choose to bypass the music at all. Then make a movie in your mind about HOW you feel when your relationship with her (#1) is PERFECT. Imagine doing things with her (lol, sounds bad, but you guys always do these things, so  it should be easy) - I don't mean naughty things, heh.

Do this once a day and have trust, and let go! Also, try to notice small coincidences in your life. For example, if you know that she likes..... ORANGE FLORAL PURSES... and you want to improve relationship with her, then you go to a store and there is an orange floral purse on clearance .. then BUY IT. This is just one example.
Universe is full of abundance and possibilities.

Hi, There are two vital fundamentals in manifesting any desire and these two are strong desire and; belief. Strong desire will lead to instant manifestation of your yearning. If you have strapping desire in your heart and in your mind to achieve your goals then there no impossible not to attain it. Desire is very important as this is going to be your drive to accomplish anything you want to. If you desire to have improve your relationship to your mother’s son, you desire to improve your professional life and you desire to improve your self but your not much into meditation thing, then you will need to fire or fuel up your desire to accomplish all of this. Next is to believe, what you desire, because if you desire something but you’re heart is not on it, then its useless, it is important that you believe in everything you yearn. Believe you can do everything you desire, believe in your self no matter how much you may desire a specific outcome, if you don’t believe it will happen, it simply will not happen. Also, the belief needs to be both conscious and subconscious.
Great things starts from small beginnings. Try this out. Create a simple request; nothing extravagant, something that would make you a believer. Believe you deserve what you are asking for. Believe 100% that you are fully deserving of this request. Take note and observe if you get a good result, then consider increasing to a little more complex desire. Take note of the outcome and then continue manifesting.

How do you let go? Thats the one of the if not the biggest issue I have.

Let go by shifting focus on something else. If you cannot let go of a person then "find another person" (just don't act of it).. Find a cute cashier and start LIKING THEM (but temporarily)... to shift focus away from the other person.
