LOA for relieving pain

This may be a silly question with an obvious answer, but Im still fairly newish to LOA and not sure the best and quickest way to go about this. I was in a car accident a few years ago and have constant pain in my neck and back. I can tolerate it normally, but sometimes it really gets going to bad levels, and even worse causes me severe headaches that last for days and days. So right now, I have a horrendous headache that has been going on for two days. Any suggestions on how to apply LOA for some relief? I know how its done, and I can visualize myself without the pain, but I know with the visualizing you also have to feel that what you are visualizing is happening. Any ideas on how I can feel like the pain is gone, when I am actually physically in serious pain? Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I have used this Silva method technique successfully for bad headaches, toothache and to make lighter periods. This is the way I did it. Lay on the bed and counted down slowly from 20 breathing steadily.

Then mentally said, I have a headache

I feel a headache

I don't want a headache

I'm going to count from 1 to 5

When I open my eyes I'm going to be pain free and feeling in full health

Then count from 1 - 3. At 3 remind yourself. When I open my eyes I will have no discomfort ( youve moved from pain to discomfort) feeling good and full health. Then 4 - 5
 
Open your eyes.

Its worked for me every time. When I had a severe sinus headache making me feel  sick and my whole face throbbing.  I did it twice about half an
hour apart before it went completely.

I know it's sounds a bit unlikely but definitely worked for me.

Oh Lise, thank you for sharing this I just know how to relieve pain using Silva Method I once had a loose bowel movement (LBM) while attending a seminar. Drugstore was far and I didn't have any meds with me. I used affirmations "health and healing of my stomach flows to me easily". I told that statement several times and I was so glad that everything went well mmmm or else, it should become a big story hehehe
