LoA and The Power of Now

I've just joined this forum. Ive been practicing LoA for a while now with some success and some failures, but I 've seen the results when it really comes together.

I am trying to attract the perfect relationship( Ideally with my ex if I'm honest!) and have been reading quite a bit, including "The Power of Now". There is controversy as to whether the two are compatible. In my humble opinion, not only are the compatible but may be the key to actually really activating the LoA.

Tolle tell us to live in the moment and to pay minimal attention to the past and the future, to live in consciousness and not thought. He tell us that the mind is a tool to be used and should not be our master. I think this is actually the key to the 'letting go' part of the Law, which Ive always found the hardest part, but is SOOOOO important (as I've found out!!)

I use it after I've visualized to clear my mind of resistance and prevent negative thoughts, because if you don't think, YOU CAN'T HAVE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS!

Anyway, I'd love to hear what other people think on this issue because its a fascinating topic

It has been such a long time since I read The Power of Now, so I may need to read it again to refresh, but you are right! All of our power is in the present moment.. all of it. That's why when you want something to happen in the future you have to notice what you are grateful for right now!! Now is the moment where you can change what happens next.

It's so good this topic came today! I think it is what I needed to be reminded about that book!

It's been a while since I read the Power of Now. A refresh is one thing I wanted to do for some time because I remember I didn't like it much, or didn't understand it, or found it contradictory with LOA.
I want to read it again to figure it out how LOA and PoN can work together.
LOA suggests to think and visualize the future, PoN suggests not to think about the future, focus on now which makes sense since it is NOW when we create our future.
I feel now that I did my part with LOA, set my desire, visualized on it, wrote about it, felt it and what I have to do now is forget about it? Just live in the now?

I am going to read it again, I have the practice book, too, but I never practiced!

He talks about LOA in a YouTube video and he said living in the now is the key to using it and it states not to put so much into your deaire that when you do ask for what you want right after just live in the now dont make that thing that you want a part of you I mean just enjoy the moment!
