Is it possible to heal scars?

I love myself , I really do ... but the one thing , that really bothers me , and hurts my confidence - is a few red scars I got on my face . it sometimes feels like they are never going to heal . and I am stuck in a defected body forever ...

Lately , after hearing about the law of attraction and understanding the role it played in my whole life . I realized that the more obsessed I am about it . the more of that I'll get ... so I tried to change my way of thinking :

I try to feel good with myself , as if I don't have it at all . and the first step I did  was stop using makeup to hide it . and anytime I want to visualize myself with a clear skin , I just look at a picture of mine where it's not visible , and tell myself thats how I wanna be . and I try not worrying about it - and let the medicine take  care of it for me .

But to be honest - it just looks worse right now . and I can't help it but feel depressed anytime I look in the mirror ... do I just need to be more patient - or I am doing something wrong? =\

I think so. I have successfully used visualisation to treat a skin condition, and have had dramatic improvements in the last six months.

I wouldn't stop using makeup, at least not for the time being. My reasoning is that it is harder to visualise clear smooth skin if you look in the mirror and keep seeing scars. However, you need to make sure that the makeup is not irritating your skin or otherwise exacerbating the condition. Also, if you are having trouble visualising, maybe you could also find a picture of the perfect complexion that you would like to achieve for your vision board?

You also need to keep an open mind as to how the improvements could come about. Don't limit yourself to thinking that it has to be spontaneous healing within a certain time frame. That may happen, but just as easily what might happen is that a new treatment method might be revealed to you (this is what has happened for me, after 30-odd years of trying different treatments, I have found something new which is making a big difference).
