How would you use the LOA to find a job?

I understand your frustration.  I was out of a job  for 5 months, after being made redundant.   The first few months, I consume myself with worry and doubt, applying for work that would had not even suited me.  I decided to just let go and enjoy the time off(fourtunately I had some saving , so financially I was ok).  I volunteered for a lot of charities, read books, listen to music, research classes  I could participant (which were free ) that I could take that would develope me further.  All the while, I continued applying for role.  Out of the blue, I recieved a phone call from a role that I had a I applied for , but was not qualified.  They had kept my CV and noted that i had done a lot of charities work.  they wanted me to come on board to help plan the UK Paralympic 2012 with programme  that I am qualified in.  It was a 6 week contract, and after i finished that it open so many doors for me.

I am now a freelancer in the work I do, I have not been with out work for nearly a year.   

All I can advise you to is to let go, detach you self from whatever ou want.  You have already sent it out to the universe,  just let it work for you.   Life life to the fullest and when you a least expect it, you will get that call for that perfect role that you will love

Well today I bring good news, I finally got a job. It happened after I gave up on the LOA meaning I had been putting for to much effort into it, I got a call out of the blue yesterday, went for an interview today, offered the job there and then.

You didnt give up on LOA , you just detached and got it. Weeeeeeeeeeeee !!!

Exactly, but detaching is one of the hardest things to do, I got to the stage where I said f**k it and things happened.

Its not what I dream of doing but its what I've always done and the money is OK and it will get me out of this house
