Author Topic: How to use the Silva Method to manifest money (Read 15819 times)

More years ago than I can remember I learned the Silva Method from Laura Silva (daughter of the founder of the method, Jose Silva). The following techniques still form the basis of my manifesting. I recently manifested $100,000 as part of the group who posted their experiences on here over last month about their attempts to do just that.
The basis of the Silva Method is to get into a relaxed state where the brain is producing Alpha waves. You may know there are four levels of brain waves, Beta is a waking, alert, state, Alpha is a very relaxed state, Theta is the sleeping state and Delta is deep sleep to unconsciousness.
At the Alpha 'level' you have a much greater connection with your subconscious and hence, with your spirit and God/the Universe/your Higher Source.
I thought you may like to know how it is done the Silva way, so here's how to get to the Alpha level:
Choose a time when you will not be disturbed - turn everything off (tv, phone, etc.).
Sit comfortably, look slightly upwards about 15 to 20 degrees (there are physiological reasons for this), and, keeping your eyes in that position, close your eyes. Take a deep breath and breathe out, then continue breathing normally. Remind yourself that, if necessary, you will be wide awake and alert, but, for now, you can relax - and any sounds will simply help you to go deeper.
Start at the top of your head and let the muscles of your scalp relax. You may feel a slight tingling in your scalp. Then relax the muscles around your eyes, your mouth and jaw. You should actually feel the muscles relaxing. Go down your entire body and relax every muscle - your neck and shoulders, arms, forearms and hands, back, stomach, thighs, legs and feet. Feel every part relax. You may find you lose awareness of your body - that is what you are aiming for.
Picture the numbers as you count down from 100 to 1. If this seems to take too long try starting from 50.
By now you will be very relaxed and easily in the Alpha level. From here do your visualising.
I'll talk more about how to visualise next time.
When you are done, count slowly from 1 to 5 reminding yourself that you will awake when you reach number 1 feeling wonderful and fully alert. You could say your affirmations after each number. When you reach 1 open your eyes. You may want to stretch and move about.
If anyone is interested, next time I will offer some specific visualising techniques, plus a different method for getting to the Alpha level which will enable you to get to Alpha within a few seconds.

Cant way to use this! Im a newbie at meditation, sometimes I do it like that and sometimes I use guided meditations on youtube. I want to know about visualization methods!! I really cannot hold into an image on my mind for more than 3-5 seconds, and the image is imagine like with the back of my mind haha, more like a memory

I've had a very hectiv morning, well not me but my family - all very negative so its been hard to stay afloat today

but ive done this edge and it has helped immensely, i feel this is a great exercise to get yourself into the place you want to be! my manifestations happened much more smoothly afterward

I'm glad you found it useful.
It seems that a lot of people here don't really know "how" to do a lot of stuff. I was lucky - I learned from true experts around the world, and you cannot beat one-to-one teaching. It's far better than learning from books and CD's.
I wish I could spend time personally with everyone here who needs help.
OK - A few words about visualising. Christy Michelle, you said you cannot hold an image in your mind for more than a few seconds - I suspect that's true for most people. You really need to hold a thought for around 68 seconds. That is enough for it to start manifesting. If you can manifest things now, just imagine how powerful you could be if you could hold an image for ten or fifteen minutes!
When you start I suggested you look upwards about 15 degrees. When you do so, imagine you are looking up at a big screen, rather like in a cinema. Keep the image of the screen up there when you close your eyes. Project all your images onto that screen while you are visualising. See a huge picture, really bright with bold colours.
You must use all your senses - see it, hear it, touch it, smell it, and taste it.
Then feel it. Use every positive emotion you can conjur up.
To keep the image for several minutes, use a tape recorder and record everything in as much detail as possible. Better still, have a good friend sit next to you and describe it all to him or her. He/she can prompt you if you start to 'dry up' by asking you questions like "what can you hear", etc. Depending on what you are visualising this should take several minutes, even as long as 15 minutes.
When you feel you've described everything (colours, sounds, smells, feelings, etc.) count yourself up from 1 to 5 as I've described and open your eyes.
That's it - that is basic visualisation. That alone can have you manifesting amazing things. I'll go into more advanced techniques if I get time. My next post will be about a quicker way to get into the Alpha state.

Craigyd87, Yes it does. Which is great for your health - it relieves stress, lowers your blood pressure, reduces the stress hormones like adrenalin and cortisol, and increases the good hormones like endorphins. And we all know how important it is to feel good.

Edge, I so appreciate you being on this forum... That technique clarifies the process a lot. I thought the best way to visualizate was doing it very deep/profound into your mind, sorta like an hypnosis (I havent been hypnotized but for what I understand your on a state of mind where your not talking in an excited way or not speaking at all). So, now knowing ia more of an active experience, I think I can do better!!

Hi Edge,

I use the 100 to 1 Silva method to get me into alpha and it works very well, but when it comes to manifesting a specific amount of money, I just don't know what to visualize.

You said you manifested $100,000... how did you do it? Did you visualize a check for that amount? Did you just feel having the money right now?

People who teach the law of attraction say that you cannot think about how the money/item will come to you which is easy to do when you visualize a product (like a computer). But how to visualize a large amount of money which is intangible?

I thought I'd better answer some questions before I move on.
Christy Michelle – I hope I've shown you one way to keep an image in mind for a reasonable length of time. And thanks for your appreciation. I wish I could sit with you guys and teach you this personally, but...
This is not like hypnosis as most people know it. You are in a very relaxed state, like hypnosis, but it is not passive like many meditation methods are. Jose Silva called it active meditation, because you are not sitting and repeating a mantra – you are actively using your mind for a specific purpose. So you are right, it is an active experience mentally, while in a relaxed state physically.
The 68 seconds is about the time new people need to get a thought to manifest. I'm not sure what Abraham suggests – I think he says 60 seconds. Once you gain experience and have more control over your mind (and thoughts) the time needed reduces. With practice you can feel when you've done enough, and yes, it can be done in 17 seconds, or less.
Vicki Christina – Yes, the method for reaching the Alpha state (or Alpha level as the Silva Method calls it) is the same, whatever you want to visualise or manifest.
JanieA – Hi, welcome to the group! I was going to talk about money (that's what this particular thread was supposed to be about, but I thought I should answer all the questions first. So I'll leave manifesting money until the next time. But I will say that, as with anything else, don't try to visualise how the money will come. For example, winning the lottery can be a how – it is how you will get the money. Having said that, you can manifest a lottery win if you do it right.
