You need to stop thinking the worst right this minute please!!
What I was referring to was in an Abraham/Hicks DVD and a woman was talking about job offers she was getting for the type of job she used to want, but now she had changed her intention and they said that it was her previous manifestations playing out.

But having said that I wish I hadn't posted what I'd said because I don't know how it works for fears that you have given up. But this is the LoA we are talking about, so make it how you want it.

Change your thinking right now and never look back. Maybe state your intention, "This situation and way of thinking is DONE. It no longer affects me or manifests in my life"

Move forward in gratitude and love, and great and lovely things will happen.

Ommmm have you ever heard the song by Bob Marley- 3 little birds (every little thing gonna be alright)?  Whether you have or have not heard it, listen to it. I don't care whether you like the music or not lol, just listen to it at least once please. Because that is the truth. Especially since you are actively trying to improve of your life, you're aware of the LOA, and possibly of the other Laws, you will be taken care of. Yes you may have things come into your life that you feel you don't want. But it is a learning experience for you. I made up this quote a couple days, after reading an email from someone.

 "Every problem is an opportunity to grow, and advance towards our full potential"-Adam Bercier

The reason I mention this, is to try and change your perspective. You are viewing this from a fearful point of view. But what if you change that perspective? What if you only saw things in good, and a helpful view? You see, everything seen originally as good or bad can be turned into an opportunity, an opportunity of good. And you have that option.

I know this may all seem scary with the power you have, but you can take charge of your world. You can create a masterpiece, that is perfect for you. Yes that will take some practice but you can do it. Again, really try to relax, and change your perspective on life, your life. Focus on thoughts that make you happy. When thoughts enter your mind that put a smile on your face, concentrate on those, and your vibration will rise. And the more good you can accept the better for you, because you need to pass through this barrier that you are feeling.

I am going to be blunt. STOP worrying, STOP being scared (use EFT, hypnosis etc) and START living. Most importantly, start living in the NOW. Don't think about what happened in the past. It only matters what you are doing now.

I can see the good in your heart. If I can, your spiritual guides can too. And trust me on this one, they will take care of you. You are taken care of. Trust in that.

@TrueLove: Ah, wow, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel bad for giving advice. I just started panicking, and that's a habit I really need to stop. Thank you for your kind words, it and everyone's comments have comforted me a great deal.

@adam425: Oh boy. I forgot about that song. Thanks for that. It made me feel like I needed a vacation with that raggae rhythm.  :P I listened to it about three times. hahah I've actually been using EFT a lot recently. I do it multiple times a day, sometimes for forty minutes at a time. Its pretty intense, but it seems to help.

I guess I just start to feel so hopeless when those positive thoughts don't come so naturally. Then I get scared I'll never be able to reach that place of believing in my dreams fully, and that I'll be stuck in a scary place. Positive thoughts are getting easier to come by with practice, but I'm still having difficulty keeping them and I get so frightened with those negative thoughts. I just really want to get this right...but I have a feeling that its 200% because I'm attached to my desire. Baby steps, I suppose. I can breathe at least now. And I suppose now that I can identify my fear, "The fear of making a mistake and creating something I don't want.", I can think of it as a positive. Now I know what I'm afraid of! Now I know what my resistance is! Now I just have to figure out how to overcome it...

Face it.  simple as that.  face your fear.  let me explain a bit what you are doing right now.  this desperate search to find a way to deal with your fear is making it bigger.  by focusing on getting rid of your fears, you are thinking about your fears, and making them a bigger issue then they are.  just ask yourself whats the worse that can happen if...... and then just face it.  no emotion, just stare it down like you would yourself in the mirror. 
you can ask and ask and apply everything you read, but until you learn to stare it down and show it you arent afraid its going to come back.  until you do that, all you are doing is padding it behind a wall of affirmations, eft, chants and anything else.  they are helpful in facing it, but they are only aids.

@2thetop: This is really good advice too. Thank you. I actually just attempted that and I had a WEALTH of emotions. Is this bad since you said to face it without emotions? Most of it I just realize is fear of failure and extreme emotional pain, but you know...I've gotten through that before, and so have many other people....so perhaps there is a chance I can get through this. But, I also heard that if you face your emotions and or stop being scared of them that makes them even more likely to manifest instead of my desire?

I think you manifest negatives if you place all your energy on thinking about them, continuously. Facing your emotions does not mean you constantly thinking about them though. Facing it means you tell yourself that "Hey, this thing keeps bugging me. I'm not going to let it drag me down forever, so I'm going to face it, and get rid of it."
Think of your fears as this gigantic rock that's tied to your ankles. Sure you may try avoiding confronting it by just leaving it there while you walk. But it is a burden to drag it around. Once you acknowledge that it's there, you've won half the battle already. The other half is getting rid of it. Once you do that, THEN you can charge full steam ahead towards your desire with nothing holding you back.

I've gone through my fair share of fears and doubts too. The fears and doubts creep back sometimes, but it's slowly getting better. Here's a mantra I use when those little "demons" enter my head: "With this inhale, I grow stronger. With this exhale, I let go."

@simplyjess: Oh! I'm sorry I didn't see your reply, simplyjess. That actually helps a lot!! You're right, its MUCH easier to take care of the problem then to continually drag it around. That analogy was absolutely perfect, and it makes so much sense.


I've been working on overcoming my fears and letting them go. I realized sometimes those fears are making me look at myself and a particular lesson I need to learn. I realize now, I don't need to have unwanted experiences or bad things happen to me to learn and grow, right? I can learn from my fears right now! I've been taking everyone's advice, and everyone's encouraging words have given me so much strength. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my crazy behaviors. I used to live a really fearful life since I was a kid. But since discovering the law of attraction, and this forum, I see why things have happened in my life, and how beautiful it can be when I let it. I think I'm finally starting to get this, but I still have a few floating questions!

Once I overcome this, is it normal for the thoughts to come up once in awhile? Or does that mean I haven't dealt with it completely? Also, I have this weird fear, that once I "let go" of my fear I'm accepting it and letting it happen; like once I let go, it means I'm giving it the "okay" to manifest? Or even when I let go, it will some day just come up and manifest because I put so much thought into it in the past...

Hey Ommmm, I was just reading over my last reply and realized that when I say "let go" in the context of fears, I mean getting rid of them (like expelling them from your mind, conscious and subconscious). In the context of letting go of your desire, it's about detaching from the outcome and putting 100% faith that you will receive (like a worry-free mind-set).

In my opinion, when you fully overcome the fears, they shouldn't come up at all because if there are no negatives in your subconscious, then there are none in your conscious mind either. It sounds like you're close to 100% overcoming them though, since you said they only come up once in awhile. So keep it up! :)

For me, I still have some ways to go...I had a break down about an hour ago, because those fears and negative thoughts are popping up again. They've been bugging me for a month, and as much as I tell myself consciously to think happy thoughts, my mood was very low. So I realized that it's all that "junk" in my subconscious that I need to get rid of...possibly through affirming positive thoughts until they sink into my subconscious mind, meditating and using my breathing to guide expelling the junk.

@Mariposa: Wow! Thanks, Mariposa! Abraham Hicks is really an inspiration so that helps a lot. I've actually been trying to find better thoughts and it helps to speak softly to my fears instead of shouting at them and screaming "NO!" I've read that article and watched those videos multiple times! What confuses me a little about Abraham Hicks method though, is she often says not to overcome fears? I've heard so much about the necessity to overcome your fears, so I'm not sure exactly if that means in terms of the Law of Attraction.

@simplyjess: Simplejess! I'm really sorry you had a break down today. : ( Are you feeling better? We can do this! Actually, I must have typed that wrong earlier, the fearful thoughts still come every day, but its not nearly as intense as it was weeks ago. I'm hoping that this is a good sign! I've been trying everything everyone has suggested and I think its working!

I thought what 2thetop said was very interesting and true. If I keep making a big deal out of these fears and keep saying "I have to get rid of this I have to get rid of this" its just affirming their existence I think. So every time I feel overwhelmed I listen to the binaural beats and say to my negative thoughts, "Okay, you're just a thought. But you know what? Things are actually going my way in this way and this way and ect." I try to talk it down. Oh! Its also helped me when I think of my fear as just some unwanted situation instead of a BIG, SCARY FEAR. I'm hoping this is all working, and I think it is. Perhaps I just need to give it more time for my subconscious to understand this new path?
