I’m new to this forum and I have registered precisely to discuss this.

I feel like I’m in a life changing time now, and it is my challenge to change this issue that I will talk about… The problem is, I see no way out.
Here’s what it’s about: deep down, I have a belief (opinion, attitude, conviction...) that whatever I wish for is bound not to happen… Not just “I can’t have it”, but “I can’t have it simply because I want it.” Yes, I know it’s weird. But this has been proven to me in incredibly ironic situations; it was like having higher power laugh at me for even trying.
I did have some of my wishes and needs fulfilled, but in most cases, what I want will avoid me blatantly, and it will be denied blatantly whenever I try to go for it (you wouldn’t believe!!!). I can’t enforce any positive belief anymore. I tried to convince myself that I can get what I need, that I deserve it, etc… And such affirmations and attempts of belief have hurt me so much when I saw them fail every time. The more I wish the more likely it is that I won’t get it.

I would like to stop wishing… I am so tired. But on the other hand… Some of my wishes are what I want to do and have in order to be a better person and to be fulfilled as a human being.  I want to find a soul mate, I want to be a mother, I want to find someone whom I can love unconditionally, etc. I wish I could just stop caring about it all. That would set me free from this pressure that I have, when I know that I can hardly have it just because it’s my wish… I can’t stop wishing for that because I feel that I want it, I can’t deny what I feel, but if I didn’t feel those desires, or if I could just start not giving a s**t about them… wow, that would bring me peace…
However, I can’t deny my natural instincts and needs. Besides, the one and only positive thing I see about this problem is the fact that I see it as a challenge and the temptation of my life. It is a challenge to fight this negative belief, and I will be stronger when I change it for the better. So, trying to get rid of my desires and needs would be like saying "My negative belief wins."
I know my affirmations were much weaker than this belief and this belief “killed” them.

I am writing on this forum because I want to know – how to change this belief? I see absolutely no way. I prayed for something small and sweet to happen as a confirmation that it’s possible, as a sign; nothing happened. My affirmations failed miserably every time. What should I do? What would you do if you were me?
Any insight, thought, idea, technique is welcome; you don’t have to give a complete analysis of the situation, just write what comes to your mind.

The problem seems that you are set in your belief.. and in my experience.. when you really believe something to be true.. it is.

But maybe I can help you... ok this is what I have done with some success.. it will require some of your time, but not as much "belief" so to speak.

First.. no matter what.. you are deserving.. so remember that ;)

Ok.. I would usually do this while I'm lying in bed, before sleep..  relax your mind.. take what it is you want (love, health, etc.).. and what you want to do is concentrate on sending that out to the world.  Don't think of getting anything in return... that will come naturally as you match the frequency.

Say you want love.. close your eyes and let your mind expand as far as it seems you can... maybe at first, that will be just a few houses in your area if you haven't practiced this kind of thing before...
So just focus your energy on FEELING love and SENDING it out to all the area .. everyone.. that you can cover with your expansion... whether it's just your neighborhood, your town, state.. up to the whole world or universe.. you can probably go farther with practice...

Just focus on that one thing that you want... feel that you are sending that out to those around you.. genuinely feel good about what you are doing..

That's it.. just practice that for a while and you should start seeing results.

Hi Lilac,

A great way to get rid of your limiting beliefs is to try EFT, or tapping. Brad Yates has some amazing videos on Youtube, and there are also lots of other videos by other great people. I started it a few weeks ago, and I didn't think it would work either, but it's already had a pretty big impact on my life. I just made a post about the gamut point, which will help with EFT, so feel free to go check that out.

hey lilac,

dont worry, there are ways to get rid of your beliefs, it will take some time and practise, but it is possible!!  :)
remember, it took a while to built them up, so it will take a while to change this road too!

i would suggest you to begin with EFT, brad yates is a good EFT teacher-

this is for your limiting beliefs. to start to apply loa--

write all your desires down. all what you would like to happen. dont leave anything out and be as detailed as possible. write it as if it happened already and FEEL the excitement and happiness whiel you do it. "i am sooo happy that i have found my soulmate now!!!"-- this is how you could write it. but remember, include all the details which are important to you.
by writing things down as if they happened, your subconcious and the universe will need to find a way to make it happen in reality. :)

ok, so write everything down what you desire, this important for you, to SEE clearly what it is what you want AND the universe will find a way to make it happen when you believe that its happening or "fake the truth"and FEEL, that it happened already!!

there are so many things you can do to support your own happiness and speed up the manifestation.

one by one though.... when you feel more calm about things, you can start to use different tools, which can all be found on here...
i will just list them, so when you feel better you can have a search for them:

CREATE A VISIONBOARD
CREATE A MAGICAL CREATIONBOX
LISTENING TO BINAURAL BEATS
CREATE A MINDMOVIE
AFFIRMATIONS

Thank you ALL  for your replies!!! I didn't come to this forum for a while now, and it's a really pleasant surprise to see all of your replies! It means a lot to me, when I see that I am not the only one with this problem, it somehow seems like less of a problem. I will look into techniques described above and I will start using them.
