So this is kind of funny to me. And I know it was a silly mistake..don't judge lol
Ok so one night myself, Britany -my Fiancee , and her mom was sitting in my living room watching tv. A commercial came on about the Celtic Woman, and their North American tour. Britt was stoked, she loved that kind of music, very uplifting. So I said lets go. I went to their site and checked out where they were playing, it was all in the states, then I saw Richmond, which is a city in BC Canada, . It said Richmond, VA. Now I assumed it was Richmond in Vancouver. Richmond is commonly included in Vancouver for out of towners like me (vancouver island). So I was stoked. It said it was in the Landmark theatre, I asked Britts mom if she has heard of it (she lives in Vancouver) and she said yes. I said ok, cool. I bought the tickets. I received the tickets in the mail, and went online to search for the venue, to find out exactly where it was. I found out there was no landmark theatre in Vancouver. But there was one in Richmond, VA....Virgina, in the states. I knew I had felt a weird feeling when I thought it was odd there was only one canadian concert and the rest were in the states...that is why, cause there was never a concert in Canada haha.
Right on the tickets it said no refunds, so I started ebay and craigslist to try and sell these things, a couple weeks went by..nothing. So I started to visualize, and believe someone was going to buy the tickets. Today I received an email from someone wanting to buy them I said I could mail them, and also send an online version, he was fine with that. I contacted the ticket vendor and asked for the online version, I wasnt able to get it, because I ordered the physical version. But he then told me I could request for a refund, no guarantees though. So I talked to the guy who was buying them and told him the situation, and he was cool with it. I send in my request. 1 hour later I received my full refund. And I wasnt going to get full price for the tickets by selling them obv and I would have paid for 2 day international shipping, less money and more work...All this time, I could have just asked for my money back. So easy, and everything was trying to tell me, even before I bought the tickets, I just wasnt listening.
Point of story is to listen to your intuition...and start making life easier for you.
