We all know that in order to accomplish a certain thing we must concentrate. Do not become discourage, if you are unable to hold your thought on the subject very long at first. Success is assured when you are able to concentrate for you are then able to utilize for your good all constructive thoughts and shut out all the destructive ones. It is of the greatest value to be able to think only that which will be beneficial. I find this to be a really LOA practice in my daily life.
In deep concentration you become linked with the great creative spirit of the universe, and the creative energy then flows through you, vitalizing your creations into form.
Exercise 1Here are some exercises I have used myself. They are simple and very powerful and you will notice an improvement from the very start, and this will give you encouragement. The whole point of these practical exercises is to elect some thought, and see how long you can hold your mind on it. It is well to have a clock at first and keep track of the time. For instance if you decide to think about health, you can get a great deal of good from your thinking besides developing concentration. Think of health as being the greatest blessing there is, in the world. Don’t let any other thought drift in.
Here is a short list of positive affirmations to concentrate on to get you started.
▲I am healthy, whole and complete.
▲The vibrant wellness in my body increases every day.
▲I AM living a long and healthy Life.
▲I am filled with energy to do all the daily activities in my life.
The best time to concentrate is after reading/watching something inspirational. This is my deep concentration exercise.
Exercise 2▲Lie down flat on your back without a pillow.
▲See that every muscle is relaxed.
▲Now breath slowly filling up the lungs comfortably with fresh air.
▲Hold this as long as you can without straining your self.
▲Then exahale slowy in an easy, rhythmic way.
Breath this way for 5 minutes letting the divine breath flow through you, which will cleanse and rejuvenate every cell of brain and body. Once you master this exercise then follow up on adding 3-4 word affirmations in your sessions. Keep it simple that what your mind likes.
Exercise 3 Sit in a comfortable chair and see how still you can keep. This is not as easy as it seems. Watch and see that you are not making any involuntary muscular movements. By practice you will find you are able to sit still for fifteen minutes. At first try to sit in a relaxed position for five minutes then increase time. You will find this relaxing over time.
When once you have learned concentration then you will master your thoughts, you will be able to change them just as easily as you change your clothes. You will find that this practice will be of wonderful value to you as it is to me and that rapidly you will be learning to accomplish anything you undertake.
