can't focus more on my dreams

ok.... trying to use loa. it says whichever thoughts stays more in your  mind........universe will give that to u.......now thing is i m not able focus all my energy on what i want........i jus try to focus but somehow........i get lost.......reason is that i have lot of work so at the end of day i get tired.......that time its too difficult to visualize as i feel sleepy......i try to visualize whenever i find time but somehow i think i m not giving enough time to my desires  in my thought and then negative thougts also want some time. thing is that when i tried to visualize i jus feel little lazy which maybe resisting me form attracting........any suggestions how can i give more time........and i long should i visualize per day so universe starts acting..........i heard its 60 second....i have some diificulty holding for that long

@harry, visualisation doesn't work for everyone and that's okay.  It is sufficient to simply feel joy and gratitude in association with your desires.  emotion is truly the key.  as you fall asleep, bathe yourself in appreciation for whatever it is you want and then allow yourself to drift off to sleep. 

abraham-hicks states that if one can hold a pure vibration for 17 seconds, a lot of work has been accomplished.  she picked 17 seconds because that is the time delay that it takes for our brain to interpret "reality".  I actually read about the 17 second delay in an article on physics.  I'll try to dig it up.  anyway, the more 17 second groupings of pure thought that we can sustain, the more manifestation work we have done.

If you can do 68 seconds of pure non-contradictory thought towards your goal, you will achieve a great deal.  17x4=68 :)

I suggest you try something different. Instead of focusing on duration of your thoughts (either positive or negative), try to simply search for the feeling as if you already have the desired subject or you accomplished the desired goal. The feeling of already having something (even though you don't have that at this particular moment) is more powerful than the thought itself, because when you train your brain to work this way you'll notice how easier things happen. And yes, visualization is important, but without the right mindset and feelings of already having something, it's just a tool.
At first it doesn't matter for how long we keep that positive feeling or thought, but with everyday practice you'll be able to keep them for much longer than 17 or 68 or (put your number) seconds. The brain is an organ and it needs practice, right :). And don't worry if negative thought or feeling comes, here we are all humans and we are all guilty of feeling bad. The important thing here is NOT to try to get rid of the negative feeling BUT to try to reinforce and amplify the positive thought so it becomes stronger and we are more aligned with it (yes I admire Abraham Hicks too  ;))

ok.......i have a habit of writing my desires and i also watch pictures of few people i admire..............and some of  my desires pictures. i also repeat some of lines in book in' the power of sub conscious mind' . and also write them. i feel good but then some how i loose the plot......is it a right practice or not??????????

Basically, think about whatever makes you happy enough that you get a "happy, happy, joy, joy" feeling, to qoute Ren & Stimpy, and let it take you to a higher place. 

It's all about "happy, happy, joy, joy."  If you let that flow, even the delay in your manifestations is trivial!

@Harry: As long as you got the desired positive feeling as a result of this exercises, yes, it's a good practice. Speaking of practice, last night I watched the Lakers Ring Ceremony (for the NBA Champions). And I said to myself (like many times before), to become champion you've got to have the best players, to play the best defense, to play the best offense, ______ (fill in the blank)... And how do you get there? You got it right, with practice ;). They didn't won that championship in the first try. There were many ups and downs, but with the right positive mind set and practice, you get to overcome the negative feelings and eventually become a champion (in your own way, right :)).   
And don't beat yourself about negative feelings. Think of them as one lost game. Yes, you lost it and it sucks, but there are many more games in future and many more practices between games, so the only possible option here is to improve. You can't get worse with practice. (And yes I'm a basketball junkie, hence the metaphor  :D)
On the flip side, that is how we started the negative side of this process. At first, we got one negative feeling, and than it becomes stronger because we practice the negative thinking, and than more and more negative feelings come, and then some more, and.... ARRRRGGHHHH we give up... Can you recognize this pattern? I know I can. I 100% guilty. I've done that many times in the past.
So why don't we try and use the right way of thinking? As I said before, if you fell good about what you're doing, how you are thinking, if you feel the energy, the exhilaration about the process itself, then cool man, you're on the right path :).

thanks for ur suggestions..........hey Tyler j i also love basketball and my fav team is  also la lakers............i will tell honestly that i have lost  most of my battles..............and i desperately need to win one to get some confidence and  faith in loa.........yes i m desperate so i want things to work quickly in my favor........i know i should keep going and just have patience.......maybe that is the problem..........jus not feeling my desires  may be the problem............       i don't feel happy  sumtimes for my desires.........and not getting any signs also.......but i will carry on..........jus need to control my nerves using eft and meditation for that.........u know any practices that can i do to feel happy towards my  desires..........anything which u do?????

Also,I would just say that you dont have to focus on your wish alot,like with visualizations and such.
One can also achive what one wants if one let go and have faith that one will get what one wants.
The U dosent forget your wish just because you dont go around thinking about it all the time!
Just stay happy and do what you love,and smile,feel the love and joy!

Well said Love<3. Harry, the thing here is to know what you want. It's not important if you have it or not right now, but simply figure out what is REALLY important for you to achieve. And you can write it down. It takes 2 mins max. And then you can play a little game "How WILL it be WHEN I achieve (put your goal here) :)". You see by using WILL and WHEN you are suggesting yourself that someday, somehow you WILL achieve your goal. And when you do this, try to position yourself as you're already achieving your goal and how WILL you feel WHEN that happens. And like Love<3 said, you don't need to do this the whole day. I'll suggest you spend 10-15 mins throughout the day and also before you go to bed. And start with smaller and easy achievable things, like day to day or week to week activities (like meeting someone, finish some business project, watch some great comedy etc).
In fact the laughing part helps a lot to achieve your goals. When you laugh you can feel the things happen more natural and everything is easier. Now that's my goal. When I laugh I feel more energetic and can do everything that comes to mind. And what do I do to laugh more: I spend time goofing with my brother (yeah, a crazy guy  ;)), fool around with my baby sister (funny thing but she reminds me how great is to be a kid), turn the music LOOOOUUUUUD and jump around the house (man that is g-r-e-a-t) and stuff like that. Try and this when you think that things aren't going your way, and you'll see how your attitude and mood change for better.

Every now & then he will look like him...but some other times he will look nothing like himself, and even more bizarre is that most of the time he looks like a previous ex of mine, but yet it still really is him!! That drives me mad bc I do not know why his face appears as this other ex that I do not care about in that way. I always always know it is my guy though. I just wish he would look like him lol!!!!
