Hi Kjkitt

As far as my understanding of I AM affirmation goes,what you want is what you become right now.So if you wanna attract romantic relationship with someone you must say I & HIM are ROMANCE! The affirmations you wrote according to me should be :
* I and Curtis are romantic. I AND CURTIS ARE ROMANCE
* I and Curtis are together. I AND CURTIS ARE TOGETHERNESS
* I and Curtis are in Love. I AND CURTIS ARE LOVE
* I and Curtis are reconcilled. I AND CURTIS ARE RECONCILATION (Though I think you should not use this)
* I and Curtis are in a great relationship. I AND CURTIS ARE GREAT RELATIONSHIP
* I and Curtis are abundant.I AND CURTIS ARE ABUNDANCE

The whole idea is to become your desire.If you say you and xxx are in love,its a great affirmation but it is till a temperorary state of being.So you might be in love presently and might/might not be in future but when you and xxx become love..you are somewhat attracting permanent love state of being with him.

Also one thing I have noticed very recently in my life,its good to use positive words and affirmations but ultimately feelings are the decison making criteria.Whatever you do,say or think..make sure it gives you positive feelings!

Hi can i use "I and xxxxxx are affirmations even if i dont have a specific person at this point in time. Will it work? So what if i affirm something like the I and my life partner are love, i and my life partner are romance. I and :y life partner are compassionate......what do you all say is this okay

I had my first success with these affirmations! I had an exam today and due to some unexpected things that happened this weekend, I had only studied about 30% of what I was supposed to. I made affirmations like the following last night before going to sleep and on the bus today on my way to the university.

I am a successful examination
I am a high grade at (the name of the course)
I am all the correct answers at the... exam

It turned out as I wanted to be, I knew the answer to every question!

Now I am starting making affirmations for me and my love

V. and I are reconciliation
V. and I are a wonderful relationship
V. and I are contact
V. and I are a romantic dinner on St.Valentine's Day

I saw here that you can make affirmations for other people, like "I am xyz's strength"
Could I affirm that "I am V.'s love for me?" or "I am V.'s desire for reconciliation"?

Animor, its fantastic! Congratulations on your successes. I am sure there are more to come

Your affirmations for the relationship are good. But, as Bal suggested to Kjkitt, even I feel saying 'We are reconciliation' is not a good idea because in order to 'reconcile' you first have to be 'parted'. So you'll end up attracting that cycle of separation and reconciliation. However, its the feeling that matters most rather than the words themselves. So its all fine as long as you feel good, but still consider replacing 'reconciliation' with 'union' 'togetherness' 'oneness' etc.

When affirming for a relationship, its better and more effective to say and feel 'We are ....' rather than saying 'I am V.'s .....' simply because a relationship involves both of you. So its better to attract from a united point of view and establish the connection with the other person. The 'I am his/her ....' kind of affirmations can be used when you want to send positive wishes or prayers to another person in order to boost their vibrations and help them in their manifestation. I don't know if I have explained it well enough, I have tried my best to put my thoughts into words here. I'll be glad to help you further should you need any assistance

Anyway, I believe I have found the right feeling for my affirmations so I don't have to care much about words!

Hey Animor, the reason not to say 'reconciliation' is that by saying reconciliation the focus is more on 'We are not together now. So we have to reconcile' So you may attract more of 'not being together yet, so need to reconcile'. Am I making sense? But anyways, if you have found the right feeling place, it doesn't really matter what words you use. Just make sure that the words you use do not alter your good feeling. Okay here I go with my story for today. I am organizing a dance show on March 18th 2012 from my dance studio. Apart from performances from my troop, I wanted to rope in kids from orphanages and other NGOs so that those kids get a platform to exhibit their talent. I was willing to train them for free. I didn't know whom to approach or how to go about it. I only kept repeating 'I am clarity' 'I am success' 'I am possibilities'. I had casually told my friend about this, and she happened to be interning with an organization dealing with destitute kids and kids with disabilities. She spoke to them and they agreed to join my show. So today I had a meeting with them and I was really nervous because though I have studied Psychology in under-graduation, I have no hands-on experience in teaching differently-abled. From the moment I woke up, I kept repeating 'I am perfection' 'I am confidence' 'I am capability'. And the meeting was grand success! The people there were so affectionate and pleasing. They said they'll provide me assistance and guidance in training differently-abled kids. Also, they praised me saying 'You are doing so much for a noble cause at such a young age. We are very proud of, we need more people like you'...I was on cloud 9

Another thing is, I used to be terrified of riding vehicle in my city Bangalore's traffic (whoever has been to Bangalore will never forget the traffic jams and reckless driving!). Though I have my own vehicle and also a driving license, I would always ask my boyfriend to ride. But today he had to go to office by 7 am and my meeting was at 10 am. So he could not take me, which meant I had to ride by myself. I was very nervous. Then I realized I had to calm down and started with 'I am balance' 'I am safety' 'I am confidence' 'I am perfect riding'. I kept saying them in my mind for as long as I was riding, and trust me, the traffic was same but I did not feel scared for a single second, I had perfect balance of my scooter, I reached there very safely and I even found the best parking space. I finished the work and returned home within an hour. I had never ridden a vehicle so confidently before. Now I have the confidence to go on my own, I don't have t depend on anyone for my work. I am now Independence
