Any have an issue staying motivated?
« on: January 30, 2012, 05:43:40 PM »
Sure at the start your motivated, but gradually as things don't begin to manifest you lose the motivation and I think this is the real reason we don't get what we want, we quit to soon.  I am having this issue with getting a job.

I think we all go through that.  We are human.  Try listening to this before bed.

Also, you may want to consider downloading Subliminal Blaster from www.cnet.com (it's free)  You can customize your own blast.  It will play in the background while you work on the computer.

It raises your vibration and puts you in a state to better manifest and visualize.

I've only been living LOA for the past 5 weeks. But I had really bad days wanting to give up. But then one day as I found myself reverting back to negative mode I found that I would not let myself. I used to be the most negative person, and in a sick way I think at times I wanted to revert back, but I just couldn't!  :) 6 months ago I would have thrown in the towel if I found myself reverting back, but now I know that I want this too much. I want my life to change so much that I will never go back to that dark place that was a comfort zone. I have desires for love & a good job that I know will happen soon. I think that you finally just get to a place where your motivation takes control. My vibrations have been constantly positive for awhile now. If I do find myself doubting, I can talk myself out of it almost instantaneously. You will too.  :D

For me after a couple weeks of trying to be conscioussly motivated, it started having a will of its own and it is almost always here.
I also pay attention without even trying, only to the things that I want, I hear only what I want, I don't accept any negative conversations or thoughts. When a doubt comes up, I start "baby-talking" to myself (I've read about it in a loa book), trying to comfort me and make me see there is nothing to be afraid of or doubt. And it goes away.

I have only positive vibrations for a whole week or so. And they attract others, so I have more. I have found that these days I am attracting more and more events that raise my vibrations!

If the job that is not coming makes you feel frustrated, try to stop thinking about it. Do whatever necessary, apply for the jobs and let it be until you phone will start ringing for job offers and interviews. It's better thinking nothing about it than thinking it's not here yet. Try to concentate and do some other things now that you enjoy, thinking that soon you won't have much time for them because of your job!

It's like anything, you have to be consistent. The important thing is that it doesn't become a mindless routine, otherwise it won't work. Also, if your dominant thought is 'this is taking too long, this stuff doesn't work', that's what you will manifest. I make it a part of my day to visualize and feel the vibration of what I want, and then i tell myself 'even if it doesn't happen, I'll be fine', and spend the rest of my day focusing on gratitude for the life which i currently have. The end result is that you FEEL good, which puts you in line to manifest the things you want. There are days where I lapse into my old negative ways of thinking, that normal. Just get back on the horse when you realize you've fallen off

"NEVER GIVE UP", you never know if what you are attempting to manifest is just around the corner and if you give up then you never will know.

Just Ask, Believe, and Receive! :)

  • Laughoutloudx3: Calm- that happens in all of my dreams & is a great mystery to me!! And that only happens with him!! Every now & then he will look like him...but some other times he will look nothing like himself, and even more bizarre is that most of the time he looks like a previous ex of mine, but yet it still really is him!! That drives me mad bc I do not know why his face appears as this other ex that I do not care about in that way. I always always know it is my guy though. I just wish he would look like him lol!!!!

  • LifeIsGoodToday: That wasn't the reason for my break though, there was a particular troll, HQ, that come coming back and just really giving the whole forum grief and negativity. It started to affect me. So I moved away for awhile. And honestly, I got so into work and her. I still lurked some, not often. But I think I should have b/c supporting others in a great way to grow in using LoA positively in your life!

  • Calm: Life - sometimes it's good to take a break.  Spending too much time here in a certain state of mind, can make one dwell too much on what one doesn't have, to my mind.  Breaks are good!
